All I kept saying is ‘awww so young’ but couldn’t help but smiling though. You’re very persistent in no time you’ll be experts at all things ‘Country Style Living’ Very proud of your achievements, well done. You’re leading the way for others to come.
Your videos never escape me , I watch them to last word and image. Amazing how a family from one of the most advance and most organised society on earth can move away from all that to create a completely different lifestyle. Hats off for these new leaders 🎩🎩 🎉
Why not just use the three stone method used by the locals, or if you want it higher, build a raised platform and put the charcoal with the steel mesh. It's not getting enough oxygen the way you are doing it.
You need small twigs initially as well, paper abd grass burn too fast. Once they caught fire you build on them with slightly large wood and you continue on like that
LOL I'll help you out there has to be a way under the 🔥 for air to get in so put a level between the ground and and the fire it's like a science fire cannot survive without oxygen
Will you get chickens like a chicken coop it good to have your animals that can provide food and joy you have such a big land imagine the possibilities of what you can do with it
Aww guy nice try at making a fire next time use some dry woods,I mean small dry branches along with dry leaves., when that started blaze then add coal, that works effective.
Yea small pieces of dried sticks and leaves first. Also raise the bottom of the pit. The bricks around the sides is too high. You’ll perfect it in no time
Lol. Get some of the local people to help you start the fire. That's the best way to learn, otherwise it can take days before you'll know how to do it yourself. It can be very tedious especially with coal.
Hi guys it’s easier to make the fire if you put the paper on the bottom and put the charcoal on top and then like the paper underneath the bottom that’s how we start fire in Jamaica
It's actually simple start with a lot of dry wood and let the air flow in and out, fire needs wind to b 4:29 urn, just build a proper braai area my brother you have the bricks and cemet
Family you doing fine and adapting well. Proud of you guys. Learn slowly by doing and observing how the others are doing things. Making fire require dry coconut leave or dry grass . Lit it up and than put small dry pieces of woods over the lighted leaves and bigger firewood on top. That should get your fire up and burning. Make a small opening space within the stone barrier to let the slow breeze blowing through to keep your fire burning. The bunch of banana can be left hanging on the tree branch to ripen up. Once ripen up, you can cook them over the fire by gently turning it over the burning coal until cooked or put it in the oven on slow heat until cooked. Once cooked put them outside of the fire until cool down. Peal off the cooked banana skin and eat. Should be very delicious. You need to create a wooden fork or tong to pick food cooked over the fire. Life on the land can give you a lot of satisfaction. Following your experience from Papua New Guinea in the Pacific Ocean. Almighty God lead guide and keep you safe🙏🙏
Thank you so much for the abundance of advice and support🙏🏾❤️we will definitely try the wood next time. Can’t wait to have plantain off the fire😍! APTTMH🙏🏾
@@bktoafrica sorry guy's. Please next time arrange the blocks in a u shape with the opening of the u shape facing the direction of the wind or at least to the side the wimd blows past. This allows air to flow through the charcoal naturally and helps keeps the fire going. But nice try. Always let the smoke burn out of the fire before putting your grid and food on. Use same process of igniting the charcoal and you are good to go.
Everything takes time to learn. Don't worry you will be a pro soon. Next time start the fire with some wood first, then add the charcoal once the fire is going strong. Then remove the unburned wood, blessings
You guys are awesome and doing great 😂. Proud of you guys. When you want to light a f ire, pick some little dry sticks .Place some wrapped grass. Light the grass over the sticks. KEEP FANNING .Make sure the sticks get fired up fully. gradually add the smaller charcoal to get lit. Dont stop fanning until your fire 🔥 is getting bigger and then you can add your bigger Charcoal. 😂🎉
I envy you guys, but i am coming. Yestetday its like i was been tortured, the pollen was high and my god, i felt like running, winter it dark and you depressed spring you suffer with hayfever, only medication is leaving for cleaner air and better lifestyle.
You guys look so cute together. You will eventually get it right. Don't give up
Aw thank you so much🥰❤️we will keep pushing!
You didn't leave enough openings on the sides for air to blow on the charcoal or fire wood.
Fire need air to burn, and the pit is to deep and no air is going true it from below. And you need wood.
Next time better luck!!!

Greetings, first of all clear the area of the grass. You do not want the grass to catch fire and burn around that area.

Next time use a dried sand to get the direction of the wind, remove a piece of the bricks to that direction and you wouldn’t have to fan the fire.
Great advice, thank you 🙏🏾
