​@mystery8882 actually, viruses are the pathogens that mutate quickly and with more variances and are resistant to treatment. Bacteria colonize more quickly, but can usually be knocked out with antibiotics. A "super bug" is a resistant strain of bacteria that can only be destroyed by our strongest antibiotics, if that, and often those medications can cause damage to our internal systems if taken for too long.
Ex: flu = virus
Pneumonia = bacteria

depends on the hospital and what you have. there's a big research/teaching hospital near me and the doctors in that ER are very attentive, they've caught multiple issues that other ERs and doctors waved away.

I've seen paystubs for fellows. They were making 62k a year in 2016 at a hospital in Indianapolis. At that rate they can afford a ton of doctors to fill the ER with. Even if they are green.
