Neesa Reynolds exactly, I still hope they come to my country when they tour europe this fall and play a lot of songs from singularity. Adrian's voice and lyrics were the main reasons why I really got into Northlane.

This song is so empowering. I remembering finding this song as a sophomore in high school. Being so obsessed with this band, listening to them daily, buying their merch. But I never got the message… nearly a decade later and the message behind this song hit me like a fucking train… I guess the message will only get to you when you’re ready to receive it. im without words. this struck my very core in the most awe inspiring way that i couldnt keep the wave of shivers from washing over me. the progression of the notes rising on the horizon and his voice slowly fading in with the wind from the east...it all had such a serene yet overwhelming presence and grew and grew until i heard it bloom in all its wonder, erupting in vibrance as it enters my inner world. this is the sound of a change in perspective. this is the sound of strings snapping and towers toppling over. this what light sounds like. this is the arrival of opportunity.

well, i'd say people have been aware of the current state of society
just look at Fight Club, it came out over 15 years ago and it features similar views on consumerism, celebrity culture, materialism etc
But all of that has just gotten worse since.
It's kind of a shame that the trends in pop culture, obsession with celebrities, social media and stuff has not died down. I would like to think that people have begun "awakening" but sadly, if these songs, films and more that feature this topics actually had an effect, then we would have seen change by now, but we haven't and its only getting worse. Apologies for the long reply, and sorry if it seems like im trying to be smart or something by using some of those words earlier but i'm just elaborating on your point, not trying to argue or disagree or anything. I just don't think that we will ever see this change.
