Lee sounds like such a badass humble guy! I'm so glad that you're making this content. This perspective that's added to racing is honestly amazing. I really hope that this kind of content pleases the algorithm, because I'm always left wanting more!
Damn, the yellow 97 car is the king of the late brakers! I lost count on how many times they took a dive on the inside. Awesome drive Lee and to all the crew involved!
Fascinating! I knew it was a thing on drag cars and 4x4's but I never imagined it on a road track car. No bead lock's on road track cars?... I want to know more. My guess is that the worst case scenario on a road track car would be developing a vibration vs. completely loosing the seal in the aforementioned.
The pressures in a road track car are higher so you don’t really worry about the bead getting unseated. With 4x4 and drag racing they’ll run much lower pressures so it’s easy to have the bead pop and the tire go flat.
i learned something new in 40 seconds, neat. im well aware of tire slip on a rim from drag racing but i never really thought about it on a road race car. it makes sense but wow, never occurred to me.
Your video was pure therapy for me, thank you! The intimate view you provided in the drivers seat and the stats you created on-screen provided an informative immersion into your driving world that was backed up by your conclusions.
@@KSRPerformanceFabrication wow, when the yellow vette got off in the grass at 115mph I thought he was a goner...I'm sure that didn't help his tires and Lee saw blood in the water...lol.
What a cool race, an a great job to Lee. Just gotta tidy up the entry/exit speeds. Seems like the Corvette smoked him in corners, no knock, super fun to watch!!! Soooo cool
You guys do an awesome job, Lee's Viper is a work of art doing what it was made for Also it's crazy how much faster the silhouette cars are, it's like the onboard of the Ford GT/ etc at Le Mans and an LMP comes flying by
Good morning Kevin. I just wanted to say you inspire me man, you are such a hardworking person, and you seem like you are an awesome father figure. I hope I can be just as badass for my daughter’s as you are Sir.
Kevin mentioning picking up and dropping off catches my ear every single time. I raised my daughter alone since she was in diapers, today she took her medical assistants exam, so proud of her. Kevin definitely is a good Daddy, and it shows in his videos whether he realizes it or not. Us daddies notice this with each upload. Do your best Oleg and enjoy every moment, they grow up so fast! :…)
Dude Lee can steer! Epic video man I wish it was longer! Could definitley see the braking & also the Acceleration difference! Loved it Cheers from Down Under!
It's ridiculous how many people only come for Mullet content, really shows who's an actual car enthusiast and who isn't! Keep em comin Kevin I personally LOVE these videos and that Viper is nassssty!!!
Did not realize that TA racing was still going strong. Those TA cars are FAST and turn and stop! Remember going to a TA race in 1969. Great to see you guys competing and being competitive.
Wow can’t believe that the front tires slip that much in the rims that was so awesome to watch with the on board camera Well like the old saying rubbing is racing 👍
Really appreciate Lee's driving style as he sure isn't abusive to the car--that is one way to ensure you make it to the end to finish. He also gives good demonstration of the use of left foot braking--the assumption is that I am reading the telemetry correct. Enjoy these videos with the technical aspect included. Thanks
I used to have a Forza Racing League and we race RA multiple times in our season in old classic muscle cars, this takes me back. Thanks for the awesome view, awesome to see the classes exchange. Keep doing KSR things!
This is great, its cool to see the behind the scenes stuff. Props to you for being able to handle filming while doing all the other racecar stuff on track days - we appreciate you!
Helluva job Lee! Absolutely love the in car footage…it really puts it into perspective how much more power the TA cars had when they ripped around the Viper like nothing 😮 Great battle w the Vette…crazy how he got right back around due to braking…hopefully you guys can figure it out! KSR 🏆
Love the TransAm Series and always look forward to watching the racing and walking around in the paddock with the teams. Was a beautiful morning for some hard TranAm action, including a front row seat on the hill between Turn 5 & 6 to the love tap! Keep up the great work and can't wait to see more great racing videos!
Would there ever be a chance to get this same onboard content from a screaming LS7 or something? I LOVE the V10 noises and would love to hear some road course high rpm V8's too
Wow! Nice to see RA again! That’s my fave track in the states! I was the chassis builder for west race cars. Also crew chiefed one of the cars at the races. They ran in prototype lites during the ALMS events. It was a feeder series for the big show. We also build cars for SCCA. DSR/CSR. One of our customers was the first to break the 2 minute mark. It was lee Alexander or Scott tucker. Tucker built a wicked fast west car. All carbon. Mono shock. Plus a sleeved down gsxr1000 so it could run turbo. He was a big name in ALMS. I think he’s in prison now. For his shady online lending schemes. He was also the owner of west race cars. The last year it was still in the states. 2013. It’s in Australia now. Cars are built somewhere in Asia currently. Good to see the racing content. Brings back a lot of good memories!
Trans Am content, my favorite! That Droneworks Corvette is having a hell of a season. You got me hooked on watching the full races this year, always pulling for you guys! I love when the race commentators are talking about Lee and the Viper, like rooting for the home team!
@@Ridinglawnmower145 Like Kevin mentioned in the quilif video, the TA cars are more powerful and lighter then the cup cars AND they have been merged together for the NASCAR schedule (which usually don't happen) and the TA cars and cup cars are not position related in the actual race (there's 2 first position and so on) I hope it was simple enough, but I'm bad at that stuff XD
YA, that Vette. was pesky for sure, thought he wrecked that one time, dirt, dust flying all around. Thanks for explaining why that vette. was beating you in the corners ( NOW I UNDERSTAND ). You fixed that headlight rubber, HELL IT LOOKED " FAC-TREE ". THANKS FOR THE CONTENT, LOVED IT KSR.
Thank you Kevin you're kicking ass on everything!! The best in car video ever! I hope you become a mecca for many more like us. Your channel is demonstrating your growing sophistication, awesome job.
Road America is rough on brakes but you are 100% correct with brakes you were getting killed under braking. Everywhere else you guys are as good or better. Great Video keep up the fantastic work!
Great video! I was about to note braking when you noted it yourself. The weight comment explained things even further. I'm sure y'all are about to have a brainstorming session on what you can do for weight, but I imagine cost for doing so on a Viper is $$$. That big engine doesn't help from that standpoint.
Thank you Kevin for this great content and more! Congrats on 2nd place. Keep that Viper purring and hope you guys can get that Viper to the top of the podium.
Dude! I knew of your skills but geez, this is big time Kev!!! Not just some local (although important and awesome) racing. Good for you bro!!!! Super exciting and am very happy for you!

Kevin with that Penske look ! ; ) Oh… KSR for the win baby !
Bravo! Thanks for the finale. It made my day. Gotta love me some KSR and racing. Spot on about the Corvette and better braking. Better brakes give way to being more aggressive into the corners. Nice finish and best of luck.
Love seeing the SGT racing from Lee's point of view. Now if we could only figure out a way to get the feel while he's doing it. I do hope that the change weight adjustments. You can definitely tell that while coming into and the middle of the corner.
Man that c6 was WAAAY deeper into brakes than you guys. Not like you needed to know that (22:58), but man he made up 2-3 cars at times, especially before the little tap. All-in-all, great job.
Lee sounds like such a badass humble guy!

The only thing I would like to see is a G force display. Love the in car video.
That valve stem thing is really neat I didn’t know that was possible

Yep it's only friction holding the main power delivery together.
Clutch and Tyres!!!
I really like this Trans Am series/Viper content more than I thought I would. Good stuff Kevin and crew. 👍👍
Should get into a group and take a car out for an HPDE event, its an instant addiction
wanted to thank Lee for letting kevin film and post this, I love the road racing content. Good luck from Wisconsin.
Another fine job from Lee an the crew i like how he gave God the glory
That in-car view and sound is awesome! Thanks Kevin!
Loved the driver's view of the race along with the basic metrics. Awesome to watch.

4:45 DAYUMM that mustang was scootin!! 🤣
I love the in cabin view that is music to my ears hearing the throttle open!!
Thank you for giving us MOPAR fans some love, we don't get much of that in the racing world.
This was a cool race to watch. I haven’t seen many races like this. The in-car camera was a great addition. Great job KEVIN!
Your video was pure therapy for me, thank you! The intimate view you provided in the drivers seat and the stats you created on-screen provided an informative immersion into your driving world that was backed up by your conclusions.
As a Corvette guy, please ask Lee to stop terrifying the Vette's on the track. :) Great stuff, Kevin! Thanks.
Hahaha, we gotta beat them!! Both Michael and Justin are really fast in their Vettes and have been great challengers this season.

KSR on Circuit is always amazing.
Love the onboard
Wow that’s amazing how the tire spins on the rim.
Some motorcycle rims are ridged to reduce the slippage...
What a cool race, an a great job to Lee. Just gotta tidy up the entry/exit speeds. Seems like the Corvette smoked him in corners, no knock, super fun to watch!!! Soooo cool
That yellow corvette must have all-terrains on, a lot of dirt flying.
When the cars lined up and pulled out, that was some beautiful eye candy. What a great view and video.
