I use regular moisturizer for my eyes most of the time. I carry an eye cream in my work bag because when I work overnight, my skin gets super dry, especially under my eyes. And, eye cream is more portable.
I tried to stick to skincare restocks instead of new purchases and color cosmetics. I did pretty good and def told myself no more than once. Conscious buying and all that

Hi, friend! Great haul per usual. I have been using the Necessaire serum for a while now and I love how it leaves my skin feeling. I just started using the retinol as well for my evening body care and it's just as good! Their body care system is so lovely and since it's fragrance free, it doesn't interfere with the fragrances I wear afterwards.
The Gucci Bright Coral blush is everything. I love this entire look on you Alicia! Looking fabulous! I love love love the Merit Lip Oils! My favs are Marakech, Pink Beet and Taupe. I think you might like those, as we are shade twinsies. ☺
Hey Alicia. I was the one who recommended the concealer and I’m glad you took a liking to it. For the Fenty mascara, I found that if you clean the wand, you’ll get a pretty good dose of two layers without it being so chunky. But do not do not do not use it on your lower lashes unless you like the raccoon look. Pat, McGrath mascara does that to me too.😢
The Jaclyn Cosmetics under eye primer under the Teint Idole concealer is such a beautiful pairing. Doesn’t crease on me and looks beautiful all day. The concealer can be a little dry on it’s own but it does stay in place.
Oh man, allergies this year seem extra lousy for all of us -- the only good thing about having to take an antihistamine to function is that it also suppresses the allergy induced eczema. If you react well to aloe vera, I've found the simplest aloe gel (basically aloe gel, water, preservative) is actually fantastic for itch soothing. Bonus for sun burn soothing when you miss a spot with sunscreen.

That dior 4n is such a good match on you! I started to do this recently as well with the dior concealer during the week when i want something wfh to give me a little life. I find the undertones of the N to vary, so i went down another half shade and it seems to lean a bit warm but not as much as the W. Are you downstate or upstate? I’m in the boros and i forget there was a time when i actually wore a full face to work on the train, granted it was to the AC ha but there were def days where the train was delayed. nowadays I’m more likely to wear it on the weekend when i know I’m going to be in a car at least.

I just bought the Lancôme concealer last week, it says six months. I had to look at the box to see. I only bought the Sephora Collection microsmooth powder and lip gloss, and Paula’s Choice 2% exfoliant during the Sephora sale. The Lancôme was on sale for 25% off at Nordstrom.
I am so sorry that your have had such a terrible time with allergies Alicia, AND I do hope that doesn't happen often.. I get seasonal hay fever in June and early July and it can be bad, BUT I always know it will stop by early July. I too take breaks especially from doing eye makeup during the season. Needn't apologize. Plenty of us fully appreciate what you go through. ❤❤❤ BTW... Nadine Baggott, our skincare expert here in the UK (who has a You Tube channel too), says that it's perfectly fine to use your favourite face moisturizers around the eyes, that eye creams are not altogether essential. So you're alright Alicia. I LOVE the Dior Forever Skin concealer...I use N1 for my eye area, part colour corrector and cover, and CR2 around my face. I rarely use foundation except for special occasions, so this is my perfect everyday face makeup.

I am also in allergy overload and nothing is worse than a very greasy product to add to the itch. Edit: I am adding the Lancôme concealer to my cart in a cool color. I have been layering a color corrector under my concealer so my eyes look somewhat normal. Your application of a cool toned concealer under allergy eyes is genius! I love all the tips I pick up from you!
Thank you! I enjoy the tone of the Lancôme, as it feels it doubles as a corrector. It doesn’t look too light, and I could always mix it with the Dior. And yea the Necessaire Serum is a lovely texture. Especially now that my skin is on the fritz 🫠

My everyday base is the Dior concealer 4.5/5N with Saie Glowy Super Gel as a primer.. haven’t touched a foundation. since. And you’re not crazy lol that concealer didn’t have fragrance before.

I am over flowing in makeup, and I am taking a break from buying new products and using what I have left. The sale was at a horrible time for me because my daughter’s birthday was yesterday, the last day. I saved my coin and spent it on her. If it had been after her birthday, this comment would say something completely different!😂 Allergy season is really bad right now. Also the Dior concealer definitely used to be fragrance free, it used to be my favorite. I for the first time didn’t go cray during this sale 😅 I replenished my skincare; mainly drunk elephant and murad ( das esssepnnnsiive ) and Kopari coconut melt and one makeup item (the mini palette by mother pat as I love them for travel) and the new Givenchy powder in a last minute buy on the last day of the sale ,,, & my CT flawless filter that I like to use as an all over glowy primer & that’s it ! I was tempted to get a third mother pat bronzer but I’ll wait for a sale on her site xoxo I feel you on wearing less makeup’s especially here in the hot NYC summers 😅❤️
There are items certified by the national eczema foundation (not exact name,like a product I recently got) but they do have more eczema association approved drugstore products and some Sephora items have too which is awesome)
I feel no one should feel bad swapping memorial& Labor Day! Tbh the only reason I know the difference is cause some years ago now I had a child on Memorial Day /went into labor on Memorial Day. They were a just by the skin of their teeth 31st baby. 😅😅😅if I hadn’t had the crazy water breaking in panera -all my family out of town& wouldn’t arrive for hours later on the literal one day of the year my dad specifically said don’t go into labor 😂😂😂&me being naive& thinking I would make it to my due date. 🤣🤣🤣🤣ooo that was cute. I really love the Nessesier body lotion great ingredients and it's not hot and sticky for daytime summer also they have it on the 100 point perk section in the travel size to try if u want to try it out and have something else u want to order . I got 3 of them..lol Girl Biosionse is at Marshals and TJ for an amazing price they have the lactic acid serum and they have the Copper peptide serum set with the eye cream for 24.99 I mean the prices are amazing we are talking more then 50% off and Biosionse is a retailer to TJ and Marshal's and it is all in date they have sets and everything like the whole line . I have been thinking about Merritt lipsticks in baby and slip for awhile , I have almost ordered it, I just might before the sale ends I'm loving their blush balms and serum as a primer . I have been debating on what color to get in the Dior concealer I can't seem to figure it out.
I hope thats not all the coverage the Dior concealer can give. Most any concealer can give that level of coverage and look skinlike. Most foundations too. I hope you build it up to see what it can do, and do a wear test. Undetectable, smoothing, high coverage impresses, and wear time.

Would the Lancôme formula be good for all over the face too?
It would! I found that compared to the Dior, it dries down a little faster. So you will have to work quickly in blending it all over

I have been thinking about Merritt lipsticks in baby and slip for awhile , I have almost ordered it, I just might before the sale ends I'm loving their blush balms and serum as a primer . I have been debating on what color to get in the Dior concealer I can't seem to figure it out.

I hope thats not all the coverage the Dior concealer can give. Most any concealer can give that level of coverage and look skinlike. Most foundations too. I hope you build it up to see what it can do, and do a wear test. Undetectable, smoothing, high coverage impresses, and wear time.
I think it sits on the medium spectrum, and I’m ok with that.
