  • The Matrix Neolight NL12 is the first in a range of lightweight speakers designed to meet the needs of guitarists for a compact, lightweight traditional cabinet to use with either their modelling amplifiers or traditional amplifier heads.
The NL12 is our 1x12" solution, packing 60W RMS into a cab you can carry easily in one hand. When we designed the NL12, our goals were to bring the weight down and make it sound big and impressive. We think we have achieved that. It has the push and feel of a full 2x12 cabinet, thanks to the careful design and the bass port. The neodymium speaker keeps the weight down, while the use of carefully selected European tonewoods helps enhance the sound feeling big without adding to the weight. The result is a small, light cabinet that doesn't compromise on performance.
Finished in our signature hard-wearing black textured paint finish and fitted with metal corners, this cab is built to last. A classic grille cloth and gold piping finish off the front, and you can't miss the distinctive bass port which is a key part of design.
Everything on the NL12 has been chosen to balance tonal qualities with weight, and the result is quite exceptional. Everyone who has played it has been stunned by the punch it delivers from such a small, light box. The tone is full and clear, with deep, full bodied lows and punchy mids. Whether played as single cabinet or as a stereo pair, this little box delivers far more than you would expect from it's size and weight.

I just bought one of these. I have a line 6 helix floor and the output it so low I can hardly hear it... I feel like I'm missing something...

In the 8 months that have passed you probably figured out you need a power amp? :D
