Watchmen on the Wall

Brave and strong and cute, these house sparrows pioneered a settlement in our driveway hedge, and they rambunctiously enjoy each other’s company. They are also very territorial, which is adorable.
The Lord not only dispatched angels (which He let me see) to encircle our house in response to a prayer, He set these little sentinels as watchmen on the wall to fill us with awe at the sight of their courage, and with joy the sound of their chatter 🤎
