Okay. The thing about forgiveness is that forgiving is NOT forgetting. It's understanding that someone messed up, but you don't hold it against them because you have messed up as well. I just wanted to get that clear.

I sent this to my sister who is engaged. My husband and I have been married for about three and a half years and these are good tips to hear again. We read similar advice before we got married, but like you alluded to when you talked about communication, it was very general. I appreciate the bit about learning HOW to communicate with each other. Sometimes all that needs to be communicated is "I love you and I'm here for you" and that can be done without words. Thanks for this encouraging video!

They are an amazing couple. The love and affection that they have for each other is still there and it still looks like they just newly got married. This video is helpful for everyone especially for all the couple whose marriage life are dying because of feelings for each other have faded.

Spot on! These can be applied to any relationship, really, in their own way. Marriage is such a sacred covenant relationship. It's encouraging to see a young couple being an example for others who will likely be following in their footsteps in the years to come. Great, Biblical advice!

Jordan, Josh, and the girl with black hair that is sometimes in their videos are all siblings. Kelli and Josh are married. Trust me, I was so confused till Jordan explained it one video. If you want to see them all go find their, 'Everybody Hates Batman: Batman Is Real, Santa Is Fake' video. At 2:50 in that video they show everyone.

I LOVE THIS!!! My husband and I pretty much agreed to all of these points before we got married back in 2009 and we've got stable and incredibly happy marriage. I think it's important not to tare each other down. I see so many couples crack on each other, and even though most of the time it comes off as funny, every once in a while it hurts, and that hurt can build up into resentment. It's less funny, but way happier to just be nice and ditch the jokes at each other's expense.

  • @imagomonkei

Kelli: "Saying sorry is hard sometimes, but there's no better feeling after you've said it."
Josh: "And there's no quicker path to peace for a household."
    Kelli: "Well, **other** than…"
    Josh: "FORGIVENESS!!"
I'm not sure if you meant what I think you meant there, but either way I guffawed.

Thank you for the tip on the board game, Ticket to Ride, among the other things you've mentioned in other videos. Being a home pre-schooling parent but not having been home schooled myself, we sometimes miss some of the best details. And I bet my DH will enjoy the together time with something fun to do at home. Coming up on our 9th anniversary, we really feel the importance of having fun activities that strengthen the friendship aspect of our marriage. It is good to enjoy time together.

I don't know what it is like to be in a relationship, but these are really good tips. My parents have a good marriage, I have never seen them fight or bring each other down. They are supportive of each other and they comunicate. I hope I can find a man as good as my dad one day.
