Why am I watching this? I have to get up for work in less than 8 hours. I am not even dating, let alone married. I'll tell you why. It's because it's freaking CUTE, that's why. :)
Wow, I feel like she should be some sort of narrator or something. Her voice just kind of fits. This is probably the weirdest, most random comment I've ever left here.
Okay. The thing about forgiveness is that forgiving is NOT forgetting. It's understanding that someone messed up, but you don't hold it against them because you have messed up as well. I just wanted to get that clear.
I always thought Kelli was a cousin or something, now I know truth. You both just look so young to be married. Wow it's has been 5 years since your marriage, congratulations!
Richemonde Steckmann I'm 3 months late, sorry, but you after all are 6 years late. haha. Josh, Jordan, and Amy are all siblings. kelli is joshs wife, and sarah and kevin are friends.
Hello from Lancaster County, PA! We are married almost 46 years! We really enjoyed your tips. We don't always do it right but we are working on it! We have 13 grandchildren.
I sent this to my sister who is engaged. My husband and I have been married for about three and a half years and these are good tips to hear again. We read similar advice before we got married, but like you alluded to when you talked about communication, it was very general. I appreciate the bit about learning HOW to communicate with each other. Sometimes all that needs to be communicated is "I love you and I'm here for you" and that can be done without words. Thanks for this encouraging video!
This made me subscribe! You guys are awesome and even though, I'm still pretty young (22) and not yet married, I've learned a couple of these tips for myself and I can only say, you're right. Thank you for saying that. It really encourages (me at least).
They are an amazing couple. The love and affection that they have for each other is still there and it still looks like they just newly got married. This video is helpful for everyone especially for all the couple whose marriage life are dying because of feelings for each other have faded.
Me too! It is so rare to find genuinely good people, who also happen to be nerdy and talented, and who seem to be able to relate to where a lot of people are in their daily lives.
Love love love this video! I got married young too, and man they figured it out a lot faster then I did! Bravo! Most people think marriage is about making themselves happy, but no, it's about serving your spouse and so much more. Do more of these!
I don't comment often on these videos, but I wanted to leave some encouragement this time around. This was an excellent reminder of what we should be doing, not just in marriage but in every relationship of our lives. Thanks guys!
Married for 20 years and these tips apply just as much for us now as they did when we were newlyweds like you. Great stuff, and good on you for figuring it out so early on.
As someone who has made it to the 30 year post in marriage let me say - total agreement. You kind of skirted around one idea but the only thing I could add is "Laugh together". Laughter and communication would be our top 2. Nice job.
Spot on! These can be applied to any relationship, really, in their own way. Marriage is such a sacred covenant relationship. It's encouraging to see a young couple being an example for others who will likely be following in their footsteps in the years to come. Great, Biblical advice!
Hold up, Kelli and Josh are married? After all these videos I've watched I had no idea they were married. Or wait... are they just acting married for this video. I have no idea, lol. I'll go google it or something.
Jordan, Josh, and the girl with black hair that is sometimes in their videos are all siblings. Kelli and Josh are married. Trust me, I was so confused till Jordan explained it one video. If you want to see them all go find their, 'Everybody Hates Batman: Batman Is Real, Santa Is Fake' video. At 2:50 in that video they show everyone.
The to words to remember in a relationship to make any relationship work like best friend boy Friend girl friend mother dad any thing is-respect and responsibility with those I've gotten far with my relationships and there good so far
right! one thing is being a spouse and another is being a parent, but marriage covers it all. Congratulations for your daughter, I hope evereything goes great for you.
+Jay Bishop Then why did you watch it...? There are plenty other videos on this channel and elsewhere on UA-cam, instead of complaining that a single video doesn't fit your life currently :-p
Fallon Kirchner because i love happy and marry couples because i know i will never get a girlfriend i just love talking shit about others because its fun
I LOVE THIS!!! My husband and I pretty much agreed to all of these points before we got married back in 2009 and we've got stable and incredibly happy marriage. I think it's important not to tare each other down. I see so many couples crack on each other, and even though most of the time it comes off as funny, every once in a while it hurts, and that hurt can build up into resentment. It's less funny, but way happier to just be nice and ditch the jokes at each other's expense.
Kelli: "Saying sorry is hard sometimes, but there's no better feeling after you've said it." Josh: "And there's no quicker path to peace for a household." Kelli: "Well, **other** than…" Josh: "FORGIVENESS!!" I'm not sure if you meant what I think you meant there, but either way I guffawed.
BlimeyCow kills me with the funnies. The one day they make a serious video? They kill me with the adorable! You guys are sooo cute and sweet and just awww!
I'm so glad that you were able to heal from your abuse and love yourself along with your partner. That takes real strength of character. Congratulations, and I wish you many years of happiness!
We've been Happily married eleven months and a day, and you did a great job of listing what has gotten us this far! We also love board games. Ticket To Ride, yes!
Thank you for the tip on the board game, Ticket to Ride, among the other things you've mentioned in other videos. Being a home pre-schooling parent but not having been home schooled myself, we sometimes miss some of the best details. And I bet my DH will enjoy the together time with something fun to do at home. Coming up on our 9th anniversary, we really feel the importance of having fun activities that strengthen the friendship aspect of our marriage. It is good to enjoy time together.
These are very true. The best advice I ever learned about marriage came from my Father in law: Marriage isn't 50/50. It's 100/100. Both people have to put forth all their effort to make it work. :) Great video guys!
Ever since I saw this video last year...I really wanted to try playing Ticket to Ride. Today I got to play it thanks to this video! Thank you so much for the tips you give to future/current couples out there! A relationship is a constant learning process where we're always growing!
This was great!! I just got married to my husband a little over a month ago and these are things we have been doing and would like to continue since they work so well
I was on Catholic Link and saw this under their 10 issues you should discuss before marriage. I think it's really cool you all made it to such a platform of Catholic Media.
OMG I'm not married yet but thanks! I feel that much more prepared. I love marriage advice so I can start off my relationship on not only the right foot but the righteous one. I thank God for you guys:) Stay pleasantly messy, y'all!
U guys r totally awesome me and my friend always randomly say in the middle of a conversation " don't be messy ! " and crack up laughing Lolz :) !!!!! Keep posting :D
Great guest hosting! Nice to see a fellow married couple with a homeschool background sharing some practical advice that doesn't include "burn all your devil music." (We also bond over Doctor Who.)
Great advice from these kids! Can't believe they're old enough to be married. :) my Hubby & I are celebrating 20 yrs this Summer, and it's advice like this that helps get you there. Encouraging to see a younger generation that thinks like this.
"Love is not merely a feeling; it is an act of will that consists of preferring, in a constant manner, the good of OTHERS to the good of oneself.” JP2 true dat!
Not married, but will definitely keep these 10 tips in mind. Jordan's videos make me laugh, but this is my favorite video so far. Go Josh and Kelly! :)
This was a very cute video with a lot of insight! My pastor at Summit Church in Raleigh has been going through Ephesians 5 through "First Love." God created marriage for our holiness, not our happiness. Thanks guys!
these are great! I've only been married for 7 months, but I've realized just how important all of these things are. I'm glad you put together a list because there are a few I would've forgotten to put on it if I did my own. and you two are cute and look very happy. :)
Great advice! My husband and i have been married 23 years as of 1/20/13. :-) If you didn't go throught the challenges you wouldn't learn the things you have so far. It can bring you closer together.
This was sweet. I like seeing you two together and fully supporting each other. Unfortunately, that's rare these days. Best wishes and prayers to you both for the future! And Jordan, you did well directing. ;)
Love this guys - Good solid Christ honoring tips. I have heard these before, but it never, ever, ever (did I say ever?) ever hurts to hear them again. Twice. Every guy or girl out there needs to watch these types of things, and read other books and get this ingrained into them. Now pardon me, I'm off to watch this again. :)
I don't know what it is like to be in a relationship, but these are really good tips. My parents have a good marriage, I have never seen them fight or bring each other down. They are supportive of each other and they comunicate. I hope I can find a man as good as my dad one day.
"they were cute, so we believed them"
Hahaha. You stole my comment. I was literally going to type exactly that. Yeah, that was a good line. :)
Believe Josh and Kelly, because they're cute, too.
Successfully married for 23 years. Spot on advice.
Can we please have Jordan and Sarah do a sequel to this please!?!?!?!
WarriorMondenkind YES!! That would be amazing!!!
Why am I watching this? I have to get up for work in less than 8 hours. I am not even dating, let alone married.
I'll tell you why. It's because it's freaking CUTE, that's why. :)
And of course because we can always dream :-) one day...
Sarah R same
#Sarah I've been researching improving your partnership and discovered a great resource at Mirykal marriage plan (google it if you're interested)
lol, me
Wow, I feel like she should be some sort of narrator or something. Her voice just kind of fits. This is probably the weirdest, most random comment I've ever left here.
Yer quite possibly.. :)
Okay. The thing about forgiveness is that forgiving is NOT forgetting. It's understanding that someone messed up, but you don't hold it against them because you have messed up as well. I just wanted to get that clear.
This was really cute to watch! You guys are so bless!
And I thought they were siblings -_-
they probably are
Anna T why would you marry your sibling and look at them

I always thought Kelli was a cousin or something, now I know truth. You both just look so young to be married. Wow it's has been 5 years since your marriage, congratulations!

Richemonde Steckmann I'm 3 months late, sorry, but you after all are 6 years late. haha. Josh, Jordan, and Amy are all siblings. kelli is joshs wife, and sarah and kevin are friends.

And the award for favorite on-screen couple goes to... Josh and Kelli! :)
Hello from Lancaster County, PA! We are married almost 46 years! We really enjoyed your tips. We don't always do it right but we are working on it! We have 13 grandchildren.
Good tips, clear and simple. Thank you guys.
great tips. The most important thing in relationship is a good communication between partners.
CAN WE HAVE MORE OF THESE???? aaaaaaaaaagh
YES!!
I sent this to my sister who is engaged. My husband and I have been married for about three and a half years and these are good tips to hear again. Omg these two are so cute :') Hope you guys last forever!
As someone who has made it to the 30 year post in marriage let me say - total agreement. You kind of skirted around one idea but the only thing I could add is "Laugh together". Laughter and communication would be our top 2. Nice job.
Love is caring about another person more than you care about yourself.
Spot on! These can be applied to any relationship, really, in their own way. Marriage is such a sacred covenant relationship. It's encouraging to see a young couple being an example for others who will likely be following in their footsteps in the years to come. Great, Biblical advice!
I love Doctor Who!!! 😊😊😊
This was the cutest thing ever! You can really see how much they love each other just by how they look at each other :)
Josh and Kelly are SO cute!!! 😍
I know my wife is looking forward to watching you guys, and I'm glad I took some time out to watch the video this afternoon. Much love to you.
Thank you.... now am going to call off my engagement
seeing you two together talking about marriage gives me hope for the future!

This is so precious. I love seeing such awesome teamwork and love, especially with such young couples.
I like how the soundtrack is the "uplifting" chord progression from "How To Write a Worship Song In 5 Minutes".
Saw this in church on Sunday... I really enjoyed the video. I'll look for other ones.
Thank you for the tip on the board game, Ticket to Ride, among the other things you've mentioned in other videos. Ever since I saw this video last year...I really wanted to try playing Ticket to Ride. Today I got to play it thanks to this video!
Thank you so much for the tips you give to future/current couples out there! A relationship is a constant learning process where we're always growing!
This is really good. We didn't get some of these (like #10) until a good decade had passed. Good for you you guys.
This was so cute. It was great to see you guys just kind of acting natural and being honest. Awesome, thank you!
Well, this was a breath of fresh air. Although I love the other episodes, it's always good to have a little something different thrown in.
My wife and I also got married young and have been married for 7 years. Each of these tips is spot-on.
These are actually good things! So often, marriage advice is so material.
Beautiful job, and people who have been married longer can learn a lot from this. Excellent.
This was great!! I just got married to my husband a little over a month ago and these are things we have been doing and would like to continue since they work so well
Married now for 14 years, and advice like yours is the reason we never had a fight! Not once.
I was on Catholic Link and saw this under their 10 issues you should discuss before marriage. I think it's really cool you all made it to such a platform of Catholic Media.
Great Video! We had some of the same tips - we are all still learning and trying to get better!
FORGIVENESS IS SO MAJOR!
OMG I'm not married yet but thanks! I feel that much more prepared. I love marriage advice so I can start off my relationship on not only the right foot but the righteous one. I thank God for you guys:) Stay pleasantly messy, y'all!

The video description contains vast amounts on knowledge! Reading it can answer many questions.
Hit the nail on the head! I've been married to my youth group sweetheart for 11 1/2 years and thiis is so true!
The end of that was the cutest thing ever!
"Love is not merely a feeling; it is an act of will that consists of preferring, in a constant manner, the good of OTHERS to the good of oneself.” JP2
true dat!
Thank you! very timely reminder for me. And no bloopers, way to go!
Yup, that's about right! Well done. And I predict you'll never stop learning.

You kids are AWESOME! It's so cool how you had this much figured out in such a short time of marriage.
these are great! I've only been married for 7 months, but I've realized just how important all of these things are. I'm glad you put together a list because there are a few I would've forgotten to put on it if I did my own. and you two are cute and look very happy. :)

You two are so incredibly precious! Blessings on your marriage!
Great advice! My husband and i have been married 23 years as of 1/20/13. :-) If you didn't go throught the challenges you wouldn't learn the things you have so far. It can bring you closer together.

Josh and Kelli, you guys are so cute! I love how this was serious, and how you guys kinda admitted that Marriage isn't going to be easy.
And I will join you.
I've only seen the Eccleston and Tennant Doctors so far, and Eccleston is definitely my favorite.
This is really adorable. A great "e-card" for those that are engaged
Aw! Thanks a lot, you guys. I'm far from married, but I liked your advice anyway. The "be a servant" bit surprised me, but it make so much sense.
One of the first serious blimey cow videos.... (ps. these tips are real, and most can also be applied to friendships and siblings...)
