- There are newer and bigger B&M hyper coasters out there, but this beauty remains one of the best thanks to its incredible helix and airtime hills, as well as its out of the park and back design.
Did you know that although the drop off the lift hill is 170 feet (51.8m), the drop off the airtime hill is actually 175 feet (53.3m)? The BOGOF style of two big drops for the price of one proves they really value your floater airtime.

I will argue that this is perhaps the most perfect example of a B&M Hyper. No filler, all airtime, forceful turnaround. This is the best B&M Hyper period.

Another coaster custom built for the terrain. Awesome that SFoG thought outside of the box and let the coaster go out of the park and utilize the entrance property and the lake. Its the small details that make SFoG coasters so unique!
I heard that this was supposed to go to SFSTL and the a Batman clone was supposed to go to SFoG but there was an iron worker strike in Georgia so STL got the batman clone and over Georgia got the hyper. The layout was supposed to go over the entrance to the parking lot and in the grassy area next to it.

Yesterday I went to six flags. My first coaster was twister cyclone, then, I went on Georgia scorcher, then, Superman, then Goliath (twice), then, dare devils dive. I ended up going on Goliath a third time before I left. By far my fav!
This was my first roller coaster ride ever. Once I told my homies I never even been on a small roller coaster, they made sure to bring me to one of their favorites lol. Definitely was a wild experience for someone new to rides

Goliath is always a must do for me, it’s still just the best rollercoaster I’ve been on. I haven’t been to a lot of different theme parks though since I live in Georgia, but Six Flags has a lot of really cool rides like this one, Superman and Batman roller coasters, and the Daredevil ride. Goliath is still my favorite though.
Twisted cyclone? It’s arguably the best one

Superman is my favorite; only con to that ride is waiting while suspended on your stomach for the batch in front of you to exit on take off. That 5 mins can feel like a year😱

This looks like one of the smoothest coasters I've ever seen. Like riding on air!
It’s pretty smooth but the twisted cyclone there is SOO smooth- probably the smoothest one I’ve ever been on- I went on it 3x one day and didn’t get sick at all😮
If you think Twisted Cyclone is smooth, ride Dare Devil Dive. That thing makes it feel like you are gliding on clouds.

Just got back from six flags over Georgia today and I finally rode goliath and boy it was so fun. I’d say it’s tied up with twisted cyclone they’re both great coaster for sure
my friends loved it, but i hated it. it made my stomach hurt and i passed out 3 times, the drops felt extremely uncomfortable on my body aswell.

For me, Goliath and twisted cyclone has to be my favorites. Twisted cyclone is a perfect example of how a roller coaster doesn’t have to be long to be a good one.

@@kaliiexsq im being completely honest its only slightly scarier than most of the other rides there. i rode it for the first time ever and loved it so much that i did it twice in a row. it's all mental when riding coasters.

I remember when I was a kid at SFOG looking up at the "Great Gasp" and imagining a roller coaster hill that tall. The thought was as exhilarating as it was terrifying.
Hard to believe a 200 foot hill is now almost middling.

Favorite B&M hyper for a long time, it's a bit on the rougher side now so I'd say I enjoy riding something newer like Mako at SWO more but this ride will still always be the goat in my heart
Just rode this Last Tuesday. One of the best hypercoasters I’ve ridden!
This was a formative coaster for me. I'd experienced "airtime" technically before, but never on such huge sweeping airtime hills. I'd never ridden a roller coaster that made me actually feel like I was flying through the air, completely weightless. Never a coaster so huge, long, graceful, free and yet so intense and powerful. Obviously there are lots of roller coasters like Goliath but this was the first hyper coaster I ever got to ride.
Rode this multiple times last year, great height, love the route over multiple rides and pathways, very comfortable(turtle shell lap bars) tho brace yourself for greyouts on that helix, woa baby!
First time I noticed that this hyper does not have a mid break
This the most insanely intense ride I ever been on, kinda feels like its throwing you around

This and Nitro are probably the best of the B&M Hypers. Both have stupid intense helixes and strong floater to ejector on the ending hills.

I don't know anything about this coaster but I'm assuming it was built after Goliath at SFMM and Titan at SFOT. Was it built because those two massive rides kind of flopped?
Ive always assumed this because it has the same exact color scheme, the name is the same as the first one built which was Goliath and it has better elements such has lots of airtime which both coasters lack and that helix which titan has and not Goliath at SFMM.
Like I wonder if six flags was like dam. Let's try one more time. But listen to what people want but build it at a smaller scale but have B&M build it this time and we pack more of a punch.

I actually rode the ride, it was fun!
my first ever roller coaster. no regrets. however i did feel a little too short for it and i did nearly pass out. but that was probably because i wasnt used to thrill rides.
I rode this today for the first time and I was fine until that downward spiral part. I nearly blacked out (possibly did) and felt sick the rest of the day 😂

@@jaystarr6571 i sure as heck hope so. i was originally going June 5th, but after hearing some coasters only operate when they are super busy i bit the bullet, and decided to bump it back a day so i could ride everything.

Bro it's really not that scary to be honest. You just have to get on & get it done. And If you're that afraid, grab a seat in the middle cart
I was terrified to get on this. I went to six flags not too long ago with the intentions of riding the coasters i hadnt gotten the chance to do. This was my last one and i was petrified. Let me tell ya this though. The drop is easy tbh. I know it looks bad but its really not. The stomach punch feeling on this ride isnt bad at all. Twisted cyclone and daredevil dive will give you way more of a punch. This entire ride is literally a 10/10 and the best ride in the park. My advice. Get in line and force yourself to pull the restraint down. Dont think about it when you do it. I promise you wont regret it
You should ride the windstorm roller coaster in Houston
This may be the only roller coaster that takes riders out of the park and back inside once the ride is over
It looks like the best B&M hyper. I haven't ridden it, I've only ridden Silver star and Shambhala
I've ridden all three, and Shambhala is the best of the 3 by far, followed by Goliath and then silver star.

Between this and Mako, I'd honestly say the smaller B&M hypers tend to have more of a kick than the bigger ones. The airtime and forces are so much punchier and effective.
The park seems so dead lol! Might not be a bad thing for me though since I’m going to the park tomorrow!
I rode this today and it was so fun. I rode it with some of my friends from school and they loved it and we are planning to go on Monday again and ride the Goliath,Batman,Mindbender,Twisted Cyclone/ all the coasters in the park except blue hawk

Does ANYONE out there remember the Six Flags commercial without Mr. Six. It was the one with a different theme song that has certain lyrics. I can't remember all of them. But the words to it I CAN recall are as follows: "Six Flags, Six Flags, Come And Join Us. Six Flags, Six Flags, Come And Join Us. ? And Laughing, And Ice Cream Cones. Laughing When You're Small, Smiling When You're Grown. Six Flags, Six Flags, ..." At least I believe those lyrics are correct. I just know how I've heard them sung before, and, I can recall the tune so very vividly. It sounds NOTHING like the Mr. Six commercials, though. I hope someone can help me find this commercial theme song. Thanks in advance. 😉

It beat Mako but is #2 behind Intimidator for B&M Hypers that I've ridden. Apollo was definitely the weakest.
recently i rode this for the first time and i gotta say the gopro effect on this is horrid, 234 feet tall, 3 minutes long, probably like a gazillion miles an hour, so much fun

Depends on how old you are. I waited too early to ride this ride. I was 10, and my sister had convinced me (she was 12.) If you're afraid of roller coasters, this will traumatize you like it did me. But if ya wanna start out small, I highly recommend Blue Hawk. It's fun, and lower in speed so you won't feel like you're gonna die. Also Mine Train. A classic in my family. We always ride it first! It's a little rigid at first, but you get the hang of it after a while. Long story short, these are my two recommendations, but for Golliath, it all comes down to if you feel confident in yourself that you won't black out after the 1st plunge.

I rode this ride when I was ten. It was too much for little ol' me to handle. Organs flying around and I thought I was gonna die tbh. I knew that after the first plunge I made a huge mistake. Organs flopping around with each loop and plunge, it was too much for me. I'm still traumatized, but I'm doing better. I may wanna wait till I'm much older to ride again. Still looks fun tho now that I'm looking at this at 13.

With no disrespect, it seems like if you ride one upside down, twisting coaster, then you rode them all or most of them.
I can't prove that because i haven't ridden a coaster in a long time.
But, they all seem the same.
Even the wooden coasters.

I was gonna say it looks pretty tame compared to the Goliath at Magic Mountain California. This drop is only 175ft compared to 255ft. Doesn’t seem to matter though because all the comments on here sound like people really like this ride!

first of all i heard that it literally blazes throughout its inversions (2 loops and an immelmann) and i heard that it's short as hell (editing this when i see the most overrated b&m)
