@@woodenren yep you could build a bamboo bow with a sharpened peice of scrap metal much easier with experience mind u, i used to make self bows as a kid out of local willow ext just with my swiss army knife, they were nothing to write home about lol probably 10 pound range, but they where still fun to make and shoot around and so long as arrows(bull rush reeds) wernt to angular at point the wouldnt actually stick into u while playing if you got hit just deciding to get back into it at almost 40 :P probably a mid life crisis or something lol, so ive been soaking up these channels, all i can say is make as many as you can they will get better with practice, youll never build a master work till youve created a lot of failures in everything but with bows even a crappy 10 pound willow self bow is fun to make and play with and getting tiller ext right gets easier each time(until you change it up to new materials then u get to relearn, which is what im doing atm lol)

1. Carbonized bamboo has stronger hardness and better corrosion resistance 2. I use Moso bamboo. Each type of bamboo has different characteristics. It is recommended to use bamboo that grows slowly at high altitudes, which will have sufficient hardness.
Excellent bow, I love the craftsmanship. The aluminium arrows look too heavy the bamboo one appear to fly better. My old archery teacher taught me the arrows are more important than the bow but it is a bit of trial and error to match arrows to a bow. Keep up the good work 👍👍
This is masterful and beautiful. The rattan wrapping takes the beauty to the next level. I came here because I just made a Bhutanese style bow for the first time and want to see other styles of bamboo bow. What a great workshop you have, and lots of patience. Thanks!

This bow needs to be adjusted and optimized. I have been trying to make a short bow recently. It is more difficult than the longbow. Considering the elasticity of bamboo and the tensile resistance after gluing.
@@woodenren True it is very difficult because the bamboo can deform easily if you don't have a certain width and thickness. Check out the UA-cam channel mead longbows, he builds a very functional short bamboo bow ( horse bow) of all natural components. 👍

曲度好像不到反曲 比較像秦漢時代的長稍設計
看完後有大約兩點可以討論:
(1)影片約11:34處無上弦狀態弓體反曲方向向弓腹(Belly)部分彎曲其實不利弓體能量累積磅數也會上不去。可嘗試相同厚度的竹片向弓背向反曲，但也要注意弓臂的應變量會比這一把弓的應變量大，容易超過材料極限。
(2)13:08處因為(1)敘述中，這把弓反曲方向的關係，拉滿弓狀態弦線和弓梢夾角過大超過90度，在此狀態的幾何下，那其實這把弓大部分的磅數來自弓臂的軸力而非弓臂的彎矩，故能量累積其實不多箭速不會提升，此狀態下應該也會感覺到拉力突然變重，不不是那麼線性(drawing weight stacks )。
有时间的话挑战一下古法？用牛角的那种😁

يمكن للقوس PVC أيضًا عمل حوالي 20 رطلاً ، وهناك العديد من مقاطع الفيديو التعليمية على موقع youtube. على الرغم من أنني لم أفعل ذلك.
