There were Maestros, and there was Herbert von Karajan. The sound and musicality he was able to extract from Berlin Philharmonics is still unmatched today.

Very rare material, indeed. Thanks for uploading. He was really upset with the whole situation to talk about it instead of focusing on the addressed question, which gave him a chance to list his own conquests with the BP.

Of course not, but I respect such mannars, it very bad thing when unqualified ignorant governmental administrator misuse his power and interfere in a stupid way in the work of the highly talented historical icons, because Karl bohm and herbert von karajan are the last historical guardians of the germanic music !

Holly L: There is NO Way I am comparing myself to a genius like Karajan, but what you just posted was what my mom said about ME when I was 5 years old and had a stuttering problem. Mom thought my thinking was so fast that my speech couldn't keep up. Whatever the ultimate source of the problem, my mom told.me to read Dr.Seuss' book "Fox in Sox" aloud 5 times in a row at once, the whole book. As I finished the 5th reading, my stutter disappeared and never returned.

@@pepperco100 First of all, Hans von Bülow died in 1894, so how come you know that he's better than Karajan? There are no recordings of him conducting. Same goes for Ludwig von Brenner. Secondly, Wilhelm Furtwängler is a very controversial conductor in my opinion. His Schubert 9th was great but if you listen to his Beethoven Nazi 9th, it's terrible. It's so messy. I wouldn't say he's better than Karajan. Finally, Karajan transformed the Berlin Philharmonic into a much better orchestra. If you listen to the Berlin Philharmonic today, it's still got a little bit of Karajan's special sound. Even though Karajan is dead, the Berlin Philharmonic will always be his orchestra.

I can talk about Great Artists "until the cows come home" ( an American expression) but.my actions show my beliefs clearly: I have more Herbert von Karajan compact discs than that of any other artist: Complete Beethoven symphonies(1962 box set), complete symphonies of Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Sibelius...plus all sorts of assorted CDs of Wagner, Rimsky-Korsakov, large collection of Richard Strauss tone poems, Tchaikovsky assorted orchestral pieces, Grieg, Mahler, Bruckner, complete opera boxes... this collected over several decades. Imagine all those great composers seen through the lens of one man, who imbues with passion everything he touches. The previous is trying to accurately gage the influences Karajan has had on me, relative to not only any musician of the last 100 years, but really, any artist in.any field, at least for the last century.

You don't have to think of it as art at the top. Karajan doesn't want it. He is not aiming for a musical expression that reflects that as a human way of life, and that is also a superficial level like a messenger. It was a reflection of the symbolism that only he can do in the acoustic carving method that can post a firm personality as a phenomenon.
    Vielen Dank.xxx.

This also leads to a distinction between a fake conductor with strong hypocrisy and a strong crude frivolity, or a Chef conductor with “Force” who is doing genuine self-improvement research&Complete memorized score at the actual performance on stage.
Whether or not the conductor's understanding can be proved everyday, the difference also appears in the depth. In other words, is it real genuine, or amusement flirtation? And will the orchestra follow him with devotion and respect?
On the stage was the serious game like fighting with real swords for Karajan and his allies, ⇔ at least for three Maestro, Dr.Böhm, Szell, and Matačić.
