I realized that I essentially created a giant boost leak by routing everything this way. I put a check valve on the catch can return line to the manifold, and now we're peachy. 😎
Might have two issues, dont know exact routing: boost leak under boost, and vacuum leak at idle. Possible to solve with check valves, one between catch can & intake to stop boost leak and one between breather & catch can to stop vacuum leak.
You're right! I definitely overlooked a few things. Two check valves it is!
you catch can with the air filters are vented to the atmosphere...it should be sealed
Why not relocate the exit of the vent tank to the rear of the car?
It's easier to keep everything in the engine bay. That's mainly why.

What I was thinking was running a single line from where the catch can air vents to the rear of the vehicle. You would will still keep all the main parts in the engine bay except a small air line
Then it’s just a single small hose running under the car and you’ll get all the benefits of vent to atmosphere and none of the smell
I may look into doing that at some point. Making the small changes that I did helped tremendously.
zyklon B 🤢 air conditioner for FL 🌅
Yeah not good
keep it stock if you can't handle mods
I handled rebuilding everything and tuning the car to this point. Move along...
