The Front is a survival open-world crafting shooter. You play the role of a resistance fighter sent back in time to stop the rise of a tyrannical empire. Collect resources, craft tech, build shelters, and fight monsters to accomplish your mission.
he Front takes place in a post-apocalyptic sandbox world populated by mutants and hostile factions. On this war-torn land, players will engage tyrannical imperial forces, exiles, thugs, and rebels in an epic battle that will determine the fate of humanity. Team up with your friends, explore ruins and enemy areas, craft weapons and equipment, build bases and defend them with tower defense-style traps, upgrade tech, pilot tanks and helicopters, battle the elements, and contend with fearsome foes!
Sandbox-style Construction
Construct bases using hundreds of different building components to protect your resources and shelter yourself from this merciless world. The only limit is your imagination!
Tower Defense-style Traps
Strategically route monsters through a brutal crucible of traps designed to slaughter explosive beasts, invisible assassins, flying soldiers, and other catastrophically powerful invaders.
Craft Modern Vehicles
Craft and pilot over 20 types of functional vehicles, including pickup trucks, logging trucks, mining trucks, self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, attack helicopters, and more. In the future, The Front will also feature modifiable base vehicles, allowing players to build mobile steel behemoths.
Logical Systems and Circuits
Use monitoring devices such as pressure plates and infrared sensors along with complete circuits to construct automated defense systems.
Raid Enemy Encampments and Bases
Arm yourself with a variety of melee weapons, firearms, explosives, and even tanks and helicopters, then use these tools of war to raid the bases of other players, or simply protect your own territory.
Recruit Followers
Use Jammers to subdue NPCs you come across in the world. In addition to helping you in combat, these NPCs will also put their talents to use at workbenches to help you improve the efficiency of your operation and produce resources more quickly.
Planting and Cooking
Craft water-powered equipment, then use it to develop your own agricultural system including spraying and planting. Choose from dozens of recipes to cook delicious meals.
Explore a War-Torn World
Trek across deserts, forests, snowlands, swamps, and more to find unexplored and treacherous areas such as underground research institutes and restricted military bases. Along your way, you will loot structures, collect blueprints, and claim airdrops, all in the name of making yourself a force to be reckoned with.

Having two people seeking blood and vengeance slowly break down your door while having nowhere to run had to have given such a horror feeling. Even if not killed, that fear knowing a duo of derermined people out for their blood will hopefully follow them for a while

We plan to do more on both games for sure. Survival games take so much time to record and then lots of footage to edit. We are enjoying the hell out of both games though.

I wonder if The Elder Scrolls 6 will have such exhaustive survival elements as this game (the only thing that brought this musing to mind was the fact that I'm reading pages on UESP right now). Skyrim has been heavily modded for years- I expect no matter how enhanced ES6 will be, it will still fall short of what people want.
Yeah, they announced ES 6 way too earlier. They caved to community pressure for an announcement and shouldn't have. I'm sure the game will be good when it does finally release. But that's in several years according Bethesda. And you're right people will be disappointed due to the wait and hype.
@@SkillyMcFilly Bethesda themselves say it's still several years away? It seems like it was first announced several years ago! I didn't know the Bethesda execs yielded to fan pressure for an announcement. I don't know if I will care when it finally does release. I'm happy with my 360 copies of Oblivion and Skyrim, and in addition to Morrowind on Steam, I recently installed Daggerfall. I'm mostly looking forward to finishing the Dark Brotherhood story in Skyrim for a change, and getting the power to transform into a Vampire Lord. My first time playing through Skyrim, I was a werewolf.
@@companylovesmisery1463 Yup a direct quote from Todd Howard at Bethesda in several interviews. They really just announced way too early. They had other projects planned like the recently released Starfield that took priority.
@@SkillyMcFilly Starfield was in development that long ago? My girlfriend's father has played that game, but I haven't yet. The Elder Scrolls 6 problem reminds me of the fiasco that accompanied the release of Fable years ago, how Peter Molyneux promised this and that feature in the game, and the features in question were ultimately removed. People still loved Fable though. I feel that there are more fans of Elder Scrolls out there than Fable fans, but the likelihood of ES6 to fail in living up to the hype will probably turn more people off Elder Scrolls lol.

Thanks for coming over to my channel and watching. I've got to be honest I really don't troll that much. I am genuinely really bad at video games a lot. Instead of wallow in that and complain about my skills I just laugh it off or turn it into a joke. I really only troll like 15-20% of time at most lol. Seems I've gotten this rep though because people think there's no way I'm that bad at a game so I must be trolling. For example heavenly bodies. I suck at that game. My brain cannot comprehend the control scheme for it. I am actually just that bad at games.

@@SkillyMcFilly I can't remember which video it was precisely, but all I can remember is that the spawn point was in a room blocked by vines and you guys could whistle to get the "enemies" attention. The whole video was a whistling trolling video. At first, I thought it was mostly you trolling, until I came to realize that Drae is a big troll too and loved to blame you for it 😅

Sure, just depends on the weapons you have. Even wooden structures can take quite a bit of hacking away before they break down in the game.

They have official and unofficial PvE servers!!! So you don’t have to do PvP.

That's a hard question about which is better. We've barely scratched the surface in The Front and probably only really covered about 20-25% of Sunkenland. I honestly really enjoy them both for slightly different reasons.
We are definitely going to continue both games. IGP and I both have been having a lot of fun them. The only downside is survival game videos take a lot of recording and a lot of editing. Which means it takes us a lot longer to get a video out. But more to come.

Man, it is very sad, that this game is very poorly optimized, it was the deal breaker for me and my friend: I hope they do something about it, I have heard guys who run high end PCs are not getting more fps than 60
I have a high end PC. I ran it at a constant 144 fps at 1440p with zero performance issues. IGP has a PC lower specs than mine and he also ran it at 120fps 1440p with no performance issues.
@@SkillyMcFilly Your PC specs are very high end but where does all these complaints come, there has to be some things we and devs are not seeing, so many guys are saying that game is not running smoothly at all and fps is all over the place. I would love to play this game but when it is like this I don't know man, I have to refund it for now and check it in 6 months from now
