They do events during holidays for example this recent Halloween there were werewolves. They also had some sort of bigfoot event at one point.

I mean, I'm a 90's kid and even I knew about that kinda stuff. Even came across it a few times on hikes before lol
As an avid hunter and outdoorsmen I can attest that deer don't hiss 😂 male deer, known as bucks, do what is known as a snort wheeze, this is seen to other bucks as a sign of a more territorial, dominant buck in the rut. Now if you're a dominant buck in your own territory and hear this snort wheeze, it's a sign of a challenge for dominance, just like marking over another buck's scrape, which is basically a way they mark their territory, they'll scratch this ground up under a branch or something they can usually chew up a bit overhead. Another fun fact, you'll only ever hear this sound from a rutting buck, and the rut only takes place, (depending on the state) about 3 months sometimes more or less depending on the moon or weather that year. In Georgia, the first rut will start around September as the bucks have already began to lose the velvet on their antlers and lasts till around the 3rd rut cycle in late December or early January, then the bucks will shed their antlers and immediately begin growing a new set. Hoping to put this knowledge to use as a wildlife biologist! Love you guys, Skilly! Always fun to see you guys playing together

We recorded 2 videos in Hunter Call of The Wild back to back. IGP and I had never played the game before. Drae said he had made like 20-30 videos. So we were peppering him with questions and giving him crap for stuff a lot. Pretty sure we exhausted him lmao.

When Drae saw the deer, all I could think was "oh dear". You guys and your Southern accents... I can't 😆😆😆. "Oh my heart is in my chest" 😝. I loved the discussion about surviving animal attacks. The strength of a chimpanzee has actually been exaggerated, but they're still well beyond capable of tearing a human apart. One thing most people don't think about when animal attacks are discussed though is intelligence, not just physical strength. Elephants, for example. Even when they're beyond a fence and you think they can't get close to you, there are records of them picking up rocks and using them as cannonballs, essentially. "Really? What other ways do you see Drae, besides visually?" 😝😝😝😝😝😝.
lmao we love to just lean heavy into whatever the characters are for a game we are playing. It’s fun! I used to work with a guy that said he could take any animal barehanded locked in a room with them and no weapons. His logic was humans are smarter so he’d come out on top. I was like no way man. A large majority of the predators would destroy you no problem.
@@SkillyMcFilly I've seen little evidence that humans are that smart in my thirty four years, and without a weapon and knowing how to use it, humans are nothing compared to just about any other animal, all of whom are intelligent enough to survive in their environments. Ask any human if they can get termites out of their rock-hard mounds with a stick the way chimpanzees do. I'm rereading 'The Book Of Deadly Animals' by Gordon Grice- I love this book. It handily destroys the foolish notion most readers would have that we are the dominant species on this planet (or superior in any way to any other species) or that we're not another animal ourselves. Everything from worms to whales can demolish or ruin the human body. We used to have a crocodile enclosure at the Albuquerque BioPark that you could walk out over. The idea that humans somehow engender fear or respect from other animals, besides being yet another despicable instance of human snobbishness, doesn't hold true consistently with any group of animals, but it falls apart completely when discussing crocodiles. You guys all have such fun with the spirit of a game lol.

Here in Southern Louisiana; our alligators are fairly non aggressive. As long as you keep your distance from them.
We had an area in Baton Rouge called Alligator Bayou (until our corrupt government & core of engineers worked with people who wanted to buy the land), and you could go canoeing in the bayou. Nobody was ever attacked by them.
Interesting, I’d still want to stay as far away as possible from them lol. Best viewed from a video game. I’d be too afraid that curiosity would get the best of me jk.

There is no crispy bacon in restaurants because it takes too long. We have crispy bacon in our cafes if you ask but typically it needs to be streaky or thin shoulder bacon to get crispy quick.

if I remember correctly. in this game when you finish off an animal on the map it shows a red/purple mark, the animal will be lying around the center of that purple smudge.

And what the heck is Canadian bacon??? Peameal bacon, naw that is more ham than bacon... not my thing. And I'm Canadian, well... SW Ontarian(?), I like my bacon med-crisp, so probably like you. In stores you can get that good thick bacon! (Definately paper towels). I find too lean bacon like schinders, can't fry it properly unless you add more oil. I like using the bacon fat to fry my eggs after! Or saving it for later.

the average weight of a black bear varies over their territory, some places black bear get massive, in eastern NC the state record is over 880lbs

I've noticed a lack of Icycaress in yall recent multiplayer videos, and I have to say, the videos are better now.
I may just be over analyzing it, but Icy seemed extremely adversarial and disrespectful towards Skilly in almost every interaction. The void train videos were almost unwatchable because Icy was annoying af towards Skilly.
