    Hi!
Could you tell me whether drive modes have an impact on acceleration (and not just regenerative brake). Specifically wondering if Snow mode will make the accel/couple milder...
    Thanx!

No difference I've seen other than the pedal response, the regen is decoupled from the drive modes and can be set independently. Snow mode reduces torque, limits regen. It might also change the way the traction control works but hard to tell on public roads.

How there is no slip when traction control is off?

When you post a video with an EV you should also write the state of charge of the HV battery when you did the testing. Because they have different performance at 90% SoC and at 30%.

Also the car is heavier with a full charge.

@@mvnorsel6354 if you can measure the weight difference of a fully charged battery versus a depleted one, you can have a cookie. Ergo, the difference is so infinitesimally small that it is impossible to measure using readily available measuring devices.
You could of course use calculations based on the battery chemistry and number of cells but you will find the difference is in micrograms. The dust on the car would weigh more

Good idea. Just a note, not all EVs drop performance as battery level drops. Usually older EVs. For example, Porsche Taycan offers repeatable performance throughout battery charge (we’ve tested that claim too). We’ve also spoken to a Hyundai engineer about this and he said performance should be the same except the last little bit of charge.
But fair point we will aim to include that.
Also keep in mind we do try to test with maximum charge but we have to drive out to the testing location - we usually ‘tip-toe’ out in eco mode with air-con off etc. It’s a fun drive 🙃

@@PDriveTV True, but the Taycan costs a lot. Not all cars perform the same.
I've seen on youtube a guy was testing a 2022 Model 3 Performance from 100 to 200 km/h on the Autobahn and the acceleration drops when the SoC goes below 50%.
So it's different for different cars. And the engineers are not always 100% honest 🤣.

not a fan of blacked out D pillar at all. Maybe if it flowed onto the top pillar to A pillar and perhaps roof, itself. As it stands, looks a bit like when you put a door on from a wrecker that's wrong colour
