- Follow along to watch the SmartSpin2K follow an erg mode workout on Zwift. The SmartSpin2K responds to Zwift to match your power output by changing the resistance of your spin bike. The bike is a Scwhinn IC4 serving FTMS data to the SmartSpin2K. This data is turned into a calculated power in Watts and broadcast to Zwift. Cadence is sent from the FTMS data, HR is read by the SS2K and served to Zwift. All data is aggregated and served via the SS2K. Zwift provides the Power information which the SS2K will adjust resistance for based on cadence. To learn more visit GitHub!

Most likely a silly question… I am however zwift ignorant… does one use the smartspin2klocal shift menu to shift up and down?
The function of the shift menu is to set the size of the shift. Different spin bikes have different amounts of resistance relative to rotation of the resistance knob, so the menu allows the user to adjust how large the difference in shifts are. The optimum target for most users is 50 watts per shift. Shifting is accomplished with the shift buttons attached to the SmartSpin2k.
I tried to find the page where I could purchase one because I do not have the time or equipment to make one but couldn't find the page with one for sale.
