Side note on Cake: I love cake the sound works for me and the mix of it sounds perfect for ITZY because if you know the group... they goofy and fun. lol. But they can bring it hard when it comes to performance. So they just added the groups character into the song and as always ITZY is uplifting with their message.

"BET ON ME" is so special to me because I have all these doubts and fear on me, and having a low self-esteem and being an introvert didn't help me live in a world full of "what if's" and "uncertainty". I loved all three! I love Ryujin’s voice sm, and yes… Lia’s coming at me this comeback. Especially in their Cake performance video! With Itzy, I think JYP is trying to put them on a more general audience, considering the problems Twice had as they grow old in the industry and the concept didn't fit them for long. It is bold and impressive move, it's just that ppl are so "demanding and entitled" nowadays
JYP ent couldn't find their footing with Itzy... they kept experimenting with Itzy's main concept which is to break the norm/ be different... but then just do it like it's nothing new (which is counterintuitive to their overall concept IMO). Similar problem with NMIXX before they dropped the mix part (or at least tone it down a little) and had their first win. JYP seems like they couldn't find a solid concept for their GGs lately. People hated that they teased a very great fitting concept for Itzy and then divert it; like when they teased a royal concept for CHECKMATE and people were excited to see how they'll make it unique to ITZY but then went the Sneakers route. Itzy and NMixx's core concept has a lot of potential for great lore as well IDK why JYP's not going that route when all the top 4th gen GGs heavily relies on their lore and core concept.

They're branding Itzy as a group that would relate to a wider audience now considering that they included a documentary with this cb. But now I can't say like that. G-Idle, Aespa & IVE's last comebacks are so good. Especially AESPA's DRAMA. JYP wasting ITZY's talent.. And there are BabyMonster is coming. JYP should do something to ITZY.
I haven’t watched reactions in a hot min but this is marvelous for them. Cake reminds me of the lazy town cake song and truthfully that makes me love it so much (especially with the remixed version of the LT song) but NOMB is so good but it’s also so “farewell” song-esque. But it’s so nice and summery though.
