I have to admit your chanel had fallen out of my radar here on youtube, but I'm happy to have found it again :D I'm also glad you showed us the Crinum asiaticum, I grow one in my garden in Costa Rica, and it's soooooooo beautiful and prehistoric looking :D But my favorite right now is Crinum 'Menehune' a deep purple cultivar with bright pink flowers, makes for an awesome display, and it's almost miniature compared to the other Crinum I grow ;) I also grow Spider plants in the garden, but more as ground-cover than edging as they proliferate sooooo much and can blur lines in flowerbeds and naturalize pretty readily
Very beautiful! Got to visit it. Btw., I think I am asking the second time in a video: What music is this in the background? It fits perfectly and has a nice calm mood.
The background music is Shameless Life Wisdom Sendoff by pATCHES. It's one from the UA-cam audio library that doesn't require attribution. I like it a lot. I'll add the name to my video details now all the same. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
Hello Rachel, thank you so much for sharing your vacation with us. What a beautiful and amazing garden. I was in awe just watching it on my screen, I can only imagine actually being there.
What a wonderful specialized guide you are!!! With your knowledge you make every garden visit a real treat. It's a fantastic place, a paradise without a serpent but at least I saw a beautiful lizzard. Very enjoyable, thank you 🙏❤️
So glad you liked the video. That lizard was really quite big. Love lizards, especially since we don't have them at home. Thanks for watching and have a super day.
Surprised there was no jacaranda amongst the exotic trees there, maybe its a bit big! The odontonema flowers are very reminiscent of the Chilean fire bush (Embothrium) I think.
The jacaranda is a stunner. I always vlove to see it too. It may have been there. The video doesn't cover everything. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
Really enjoyed that video, thank you! I was there in Orotava in June and I am amazed at how much is in flower in the autumn compared to the early summer. Generally speaking, I was blown away by the flora on Tenerife!
I have a couple of neoregelia. They are easy plants. Keep them in the house on an east or west facing windowsill and make sure the central cavity is topped up with water. Only water the soil when it dries out completely. After flowering the old plant will die but should produce a pup that will take its place. When completely withered remove the old plant. Hope this helps.
I could see you were in your element Rachel....like being in your own giant greenhouse. Great video with very informative commentary.
Exactly right, Una. Such a beautiful place.
Thank you very enjoyable.🌱
Glad you enjoyed it. Enjoy the rest of your day!
@@GardeningatDouentza I would love to go there one day. I have been to one botanical garden in Hawaii in Hilo. Diff plants of course.

@@tim.gr1225 Lucky you. I would love to go back. Maybe in the New Year if Covid behaves. Glad you loved Boa Vista.
the plant with the yellow flower at 19.50 is Justica aurea not from the bromeiliade family.
Yes, I think you are right
