I have the complete toyline, most of the VHS tapes (including a rare one from Malofilm in Quebec), the comics, all the file cards, and a couple of the DVD sets. It's my favorite series to collect, by far.
I had Herc Armstrong, still have him actually. Really loved that figure. By the way they don't have tiny head syndrome, think of them as 3.75 scale, with oversized mechanical suits.
The cartoon series had so many terrifying characters, body horror scenes, terrible names...such a great series! I never had the chance to see any of the toys, though.
These actually fit with your G.I Joe's because the actual tech specs for the suits list them as 9 feet tall . I actually watched the show when it was live and had the toys when they were new .
This was a fun review. I watched the show as a kid and still love it to this day. As an adult i am taken back how dark the show is but think its cool how the network allowed it to show. I think this is a line that would be great to have a remake of the toyline because how poor the old ones were. It would be great for Super7, Neca, Premium DNA, or Ramen Toys to modernize the line. I also always thought the heroes would be better size if they were similar to GI Joe 3.75in and they would fit better with the Inhumanoids. Thanks again for the review. 👍🏼
i had all of these when i was a kid. i also had that big godzilla and i would have him and the other inhumanoids monsters attack each other i even used rom the space knight and voltron. fun times. i ended up getting all of these from a flea market. my mom surprised me with them when i came home from my grandma's house. sometimes it's hard to talk about those things when both of them are gone.
I loved this show as a kid and am glad I was able to get it on DVD. This franchise is just screaming for a modern toy line. I would love for Super 7 or NECA to give it a shot. This has the potential to be one amazing modern toy line.
@@tydiriumhanger1320 I've seen that DVD before. It only has a handful of episodes. The conversation made it sound like there was a Complete Series release on DVD.
@@josephjones7828 It was released by Rhino a while ago and was split into 2 separate releases. Sadly, it is out of production now and pretty expensive on the secondary market. The animation quality is so good, that it would be great if this series got an HD Blu-ray release.
Used to own nearly the entire set with my brother.... never bought Redsun. I remember Target clearancing the entire line for cheap. I sold the entire collection on Ebay years ago. Pretty sure my 2 vehicles were complete. 2 of 3 of my Inhumanoids' heads broke off + the winch piece on Herc that you mentioned. The rockmen were made that way to fold them up into rock shapes.... it never worked well. D'compose's rib cage should be spring-loaded.... mine was. I REALLY love the animated show & was massively disappointed with the show's premature cancellation + the lack of more characters from the show getting toys.... there were prototypes of many of them, that have since surfaced. The show was gruesome for a kid's show, was written around multiple titan stories from around the world, + focused on hollow Earth! 👍😎 Thanks for covering these 🖐
@@tydiriumhanger1320, I was slightly into them way back when. Robotics too. But yeah, wouldn't risk any stress on the old rubbery pieces. There maybe some liquid or oil to keep it from drying out but I don't know what.
I had a tree thing not sure how the hell i came across having it but i did, prob a mix of the meddly of flea market toys of a bygone era before toy collects caused all that stuff prices to get jacked up, back then you could go back and find just about anything selling in little flea market shops loose cheap, good times for a poor kid back then, from Star Wars to He-man so forth and so on
I think the suits are meant to be a bulky exosuit, which is why the heads look comparatively small. If you compare the head size with a GI Joe, you'll find that they are in the same scale.
Yes. It looked the same on the actual show. The suits made them bulky to withstand the elements while traversing the different layers of inner Earth 👍. Pretty sure this show got canned early 'cuz it showed too much truth.
@@tydiriumhanger1320 if you look at the file cards for members of Earth Corp, they ARE in scale with GI Joe figures. The show made the suits smaller. It's a shame that Hasbro didn't produce them with non armored figures.
The magma guy was supposed to spilt into two separate characters. The rock guys were supposed to have a crumbleing effect, hence the weird articulation points
Another interesting fact, in the 2nd wave, there was a character named Brad Armbruster who went by Ace... Same as G.I.Joe. and Reporter Hector Ramirez was featured a lot in Inhumanoids, Jem, AND G.I.Joe. Plus the hint that the COPS Character Checkpoint (The Military Police figure) was a Sneeden. Beachhead's son. So the shared universe aspect was already used in the 80's
This is one of my favorite cartoons and I loved these. I just recently acquired the last of the big 3; Tendril! All I’m missing is a Derek Broght helmet. These were such wild designs. Hope someone revives this toy line. I was able to chat with a designer awhile ago and asked him why Auger looked so different and I completely forgot what he said to me….. There’s some really cool unreleased characters and such designs out there. To me, Nightcrawler was nightmare fuel
Prob like you said, the line wasn’t a hit and maybe they got “away” With too much dark stuff for Kids they didn’t want to push it?? Some of the other earth core and villains were so cool. Love your vids!!!
The female companion, Blackthorne Shore & the Russian guy (all 3 with Earthcorp suits) + Nightcrawler and more were all planned for wave 2, but never happened 😥. I wanted an oversized Slither Inhumanoid, too.
I had Her, Magnacore and Granok. I understand the complaints about the Granite character's toys. However, what you didn't seem to know, was that those channels on the toys was so you can slide the limbs around and lay the figure down in a jumbled pile. It's supposed to be their"disguise" gimmick.
I believe the characters are supposed to be in mech suits which accounts for the small heads. I believe the suits were not made for battle but exploration which is why they don't have traditional weapons. The Granites would roll up into boulders which is why they have the rubber joints, so they can roll up. The only figure I had was Magnakor and it is a disappointing toy, but I had him forever and ended up playing with him a lot. The stone piece was actually another figure as he split into two creatures in the show. In the show, I think Decompose would put you in his chest and start to dissolve you.
Hi! I have a figure of inhumanoids made in Mexico I haven’t seen it on eBay and only on pictures, is that one with the removing guts made in Mexico but I don’t have data just a pic, is it rare?

I think I have a winning idea for reimagining/rebooting this line. We should make a video pitching our ideas!
I believe the rubber pieces and grooves with the granite things is a play feature where you dislocate the limbs to simulate a pile of rocks.

You can stick Tendril’s tail peg in boiled water for 30 seconds and pops right back in Super easy.
