Here, we have Jedi masters like Kenobi, Skywalker, Plo Koon, etc. Their comparatively smaller capabilities in the force make them good combatants and generals, but not sheer tide-turners. 3. Average Jedi Knights occupy the vast majority of the army. At this level, the ability to use the force and a lightsaber are greatly diminished, with feats such lifting large objects, providing defense, mowing down droids, and even being competent quickly trending downward. You'll find people like Nadar Vebb, Kanan's master, and generally anyone who gets slaughtered by Grievous here. 4. Active traitors and disillusioned Jedi forced to fight Also, remember that even Legends! Grievous was most successful after his initial deployment. After existing in the public eye for a few years, most skilled Jedi started to figure out how to get around his various tricks.
As others have said, the goal of destroying the jedi would be redundant to them if they couldnt be in power either because of highly capable jedi/sith killers. I had an idea for a video. I remember that Rebel episode with Kalani , the super tactical droid. Kalani stated that the Serperatist had a higher chance of winning the war than The Republic did. Was Kalani right and if so how could they had won the war had the shut down not occur?

Speaking of CIS droids, many farmers would take destroyed battle droids, repair them, and use them for farming. Surprisingly, they did better at that than fighting.
