Actually, in a comic the senate of course not being truly its own had “found” plans for them and a factory about a planet. So therefore in the comic they blew up the factory and the B3 battle droids.
I don't think IRL a military would recall the B3s, just deactivate the gravity device. Soldiers do this all the time, discarding equipment that they deem problematic. You’d think they’d just remove the density projectors right off the bat, try to fix the problem, retrofit them back in once the problem is solved.
I wonder if shaped charges in a rocket such as the RPG 7 could take down the B3's
AT-TE's , LAAT gunships or heavy artillery should have done the job, IMO. You are just thinking about the regular clone infantry vs B3's matchup, which was admittedly very tough for the clones.
@@dirkauditore8413 I was in the infantry, a paratrooper to be precise so I think of not having the luxury of artillery and what light infantry is able to carry
@@TheEmperorsChampion964 Fair enough
Cortosis is resistant to lightsabers due to being very resistant to heat & kinetic impacts. We're talking about stuff rivaling beskar after all. An RPG round would do little more than just dent their armor somewhat. If hi-ex of any kind could be effective enough to take them down, they would've just lobbed a bunch of charges of whatever kind at that thing & called it a day.
Did I hear “more dakka?”
*DAT’Z WOT I LOIK TO ‘EAR!!! DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA!!!*
Actually, I’d like to know the designation of those commando droids…
They're known as BX-series Droid Commandos
Which means “Be Ten” because of the Roman numeral “X”, @@jamiewalsh3349?
@@nickvinsable3798 No. Just because the letter sounds cool. OK in all seriousness its probably because the Commando is like a mix of the B1 and B2 models, X meaning cross
So the commando droids are likely B1.5 or something, @@jamiewalsh3349?
I never knew you were a 40k fan. Do you also play the table top game?
I was wondering in your next vid u could talk about the droids used by the Sith in their armies.
The senate will decide your fate
A played the Gameboy game wherein Anakin had to save the galaxy from the CB3s. "The New Droid Army", it was called.
I have to assume the main reason is that it must have been UNGODLY expensive. Cortosis isn't cheap.
keep up the good work man
Knowing Palpatine, I’m pretty sure those density projectors were intentionally sabotaged
The B3 Ultra Battle Droid: Because there's no kill like overkill
Okay they could handle a seasoned Jedi but I prefer mine with only salt and pepper (medium rare.)
They didn't join the battlefield because of plot armor.
Because they weren't canon during the time the movies were released. And they still arent
In love Star Wars, here's my one of many reasons: I get about a month's worth of people saying Roger Roger, and Roger is my name
After all this time, only now am I realizing the warhammer reference
We needed this droid in Battlefront 2
Idk about b3s but r2 took out two b2s and it's my favorite moment in star wars
The confederacy could have replaced all tanks with b3 models, with the density projectors removed
“Watch those wrist rockets!”
Interesting.
I thought these big bois were only in Legends but Wookiepedia says they appeared in canon too.
These droids sound epic. Though, not good enough to avoid being crushed by the remains of a Hailfire droids. XD
Also, I honestly wonder:
Given their description, design, and appearance, could Gizor Delso's blueprints for a unnamed droid model actually have been a B3, possibly with weapons/armor upgrades?
@@yeetyeetyyeeet2109 Yee.
Without an anti-grav installation (or mass concentration in the legs like the tech mentioned) these things were absolutely top heavy and would fall over if taking hits, they needed a better base
If EA makes another starwars game they should add the b3 as a one of the most difficult boss in the game
The only thing more scarrier then the B3's are republic commando B2's
Ayo, Where was this B3 Battle Droid in Battlefront? 🤔
It wasn’t
imagine confronting this in republic commandos
...Wish *_I_* had an army of battle droids...
2:29 i havent seen that clip before where is it from
More DAKKA, 40k reference, nice
vulture droids and buzz droids
Anakin:*breathes*
Every battle droid and cis war machines:*chuckles*i in danger
Coulda sworn it was the OTHER competitor for the B3, the Cortosis Battle Droid was the one palpatine cancelled for being too OP.
Ok... so what the crap is a "density projector". This guy brings it up as if we should already know.
Fix the B3 Ultra issues then add cortosis of the other B3 Droid. Making the most op Droid ever. A fitting name would be the B4.
