Shahzad Ahmad Shahji, a naib subedar from Sonoghur village of Upper Chitral, has been playing for the Chitral Scouts and is included in the A team of Chitral that will confront Gilgit in the annual Shandur Polo Festival to be held from July 7 to 9. He is the first player from Chitral to have been included in the national team to play in the world cup in England UK.
He is known as the king of freestyle polo.
