This dude went from Zero to Hero with his analysis video
Valuable information as always
@@pippo9830 Not every failed driver, DC was such a good driver even tho he never won a championship
Rosberg tries the same thing but has the personality of a shoe.
@@mijnnaamisaaron hahaha
mijnnaamisaaron Best definition of Rosberg EVEEERRR!!! Laughing a lot here
@@mijnnaamisaaron so true hahah. Even in Germany no one likes him as an expert
You have to be alert on a drag strip
What I like about these reviews: Palmer sounds like he doesn‘t have a „favourite driver“. He is straight forward about all of them! Very nice 👍🏻👍🏻😉
Palmer: "Oh, rain? Perhaps you should speak to me more softly then. Rain is dangerous and, just now, drivers are dropping like flies."
This sounds familiar lmao, its the worst show on earth! Got
From the best to the worse
When you play with the rain, you win, or you crash. There is no middle ground.
Lewis drove like a Dothraki fearing the sea, the real winner was Max 'Ironborn' Verstappen. Long will he reign.
Okay I'll let myself out lol
If yall want to see a lil tokyo drift funny vid of this race :) its on my channel
The best race of the hybrid era. Superb drive from Vettel and a very good analysis from Palmer. I like it😁👍
No doubt, this race blows Azerbaijan 2017 out of the park
@@vapinglasagna5046 true
I Agree... The second one in my list is probably Brazil 2016
Idk man id say 1 of the best races since the late 2000s tbh. I was yung back then so im not 100% sure if its worthy but from what i remember its 1of the most interesting races since like 2009.
@@LittleLightIsaOnce just my opinion 😉
Non-Mercedes fans: *making happy noises*
Im a big Fan of Lewis but im also making happy noises. This race was so much fun to watch.
Little Light ikr
Metin Can Tepe that was SOOOO GOOOD
Liam H you’re totally right
Finally we have a lot of Lewis fans who are honest and aren’t raging so much about the race cuz of what happened to Mercedes
And what about Carlos Sainz?
This dude crashed onto the wall at turn 16 but managed to finish 5th
He didnt crash he only spun
Didn't touch the wall
My bad I thought he did touch the wall. But still, he did loose much time
He reserved out of the corner yet still managed to come 5th 😂😂
he dint crashed in the wall dude
When you realise Kubica gets a point before Russell
Team battle
Russell 9-2 Kubica
That must hurt
:P everyone is talking about Kubica now haha. Who could expect that he will deliver first point for Williams :P and probably it's the last point in this season for Williams.
Williams didn’t pit Russell under the SC and could’ve gotten p7
Williams are a joke they don’t deserve a point at all
whenn you realise rai is the last race winner 4 Ferrari XD
Russel made a mistake and as a result lost out so in my mind the Better driver won the point this Grand Prix
1x1=1
1x14= 14
In x 14= Hey man. I was on the entry man.
nick butler are we in any trouble?
😂😂😂😂😂😂
can someone explain wtf was that?
@@omaralkharraz2410 when you multiply "in" by 14 you get that answer. Try it on your calculator

why was the guy on the radio telling him to box then told him to stay out then told him in x14 ?
This is one of my favourite f1 features now. Gotta say Joloyn's analysis is excellent and bbc radio commentary is spot on as well...humourous as well 👍
It looks like we have 11 teams:

Love the picture of Verstappen and kvyat flying back home, with Ricciardo behind them. Congrats to him being a father and a podium. Great weekend. Kid is half Dutch by the way
Nils she isn't half Dutch. The mother is half Dutch so she is a quarter Dutch. Kvyat's girlfriend is the daughter of Nelson Piquet ( 3 times F1 WDC ) and a Dutch woman.
Imagine your father in law being three time world champion winner Nelson Piquet. Pretty crazy.
Is she hot though? That’s what really matter. But this is F1, so politically correct we cant have grid girls anymore so we better stop talking about women.
@@ChuckBeefOG You can talk about Formula W tho.
In a very platonic way.
Is that good use of the word 'platonic' at all?
I don't know, maybe we should talk about that instead.
@@ChuckBeefOG Yeah cause when I turn on an F1 race I say "Oh boy, I can't wait to see them grid girls! They're the only reason I watch F1!"

@@dgaming8567 Just looked like he was trying to help. Don't think it was supposed to be malicious.
Every f1 track should have a runoff area like this that penalizes you heavily for making a mistake
You know, gravel did the exact same thing for years...
It really should but safety is obviously a justified concern, some of those accidents could have ended pretty badly. Also there was no rain, this circuit would have been as boring as Le Castellet, because the runoff area was designed to have a lot of grip, at least when its dry :D
ROBERT REDMON #bringbackgravel
@@user-fv4to1oc4g Yeah, gravel was the best in my opinion, punishing but safer than grass.
You mean your not a fan of french gp runoffs😅
Literally the best race of 2019

@eoe123321 Baku 2017 wants to have a word with you
@@Vincent_Quak Baku was nice , 2016 Brasil , but this was the best. I think it was better then 2011 canada because than only Button's performance was incredible. This race had more excitement
Excellent Review as always from JP.
First and only review of many I've seen (10+) that mentioned it was the 3rd time Charles Leclerc went wide that corner before he lost control.
Another great review by Jolyon Palmer... if he can't get a drive- then F1 Management PLEASE keep him in this job as his tech knowledge and clear speaking ability is greatly appreciated.
Palmer is a natural at these videos. Love his analysis.
Another brilliant review from Jolyon Palmer with some details (like all 3 Leclerc incidents at the corner which let to DNF) no one else covered. So much fun to watch him analyse a race weekend. Thank you, keep up the good work, really appreciate it!
Been waiting for this since the race, love these
Jolyon's analysis was excellent even during the increasingly tedious races to start the season. Now that the season is actually getting exciting since the French GP, he's got even more material to work with. Great stuff!
I wish you showed how Kimi recovered from the slide. Because all drivers should learn it, Especially right after that Hulkenberg went to the wall with while with break engaged all the way
Palmer's post-race analyses are a stroke of genius from Liberty Media. 👏 Awesome job. Keep 'em coming.
I do look forwards to these videos with Palmer, keep them coming please.
Also Keep this current streak going these are the races we want to see and consider that when you pick all these new tracks and loose tracks like these :( I mean I am Dutch and I rather see this track than Zandvoort (Though I would love to see them going around in Assen)
Carde i am Dutch too and saw a lot of racing at the Assen TT track but that would also be a parade without overtaking.
@@henkm4862 But they have the means to change it and they have the infrastructure in place to support something like F1 both from the sporting side as the fan side. Zandvoort cannot cope with it.
@@Lintary Changing assen for the f1 would be a massive shame. It would ruin the track for motogp races.
Another Great review from Jolyen! 👍
Best analysis i have seen about this race so far!
Dude, please continue this I LOVE IT
Love you’re analysis!
Compliments
Most awaited video for me these days.......these insights from Jolyon are mind blowing
After the race weekends these are the video's I'm waiting for! As always, great video with a lot of information.
Pure class, good images selected, the right things highlighted, no axes to grind, spot on on almost all occasions (personally I do feel Magnussen also let it ran a bit wide, not just grosjean to blame there (but indeed mostly)) and the right attitude. Cant recommend highLy enough!
Magnussen is entitled to push the driver as long as he doesn't force all 4 wheels of the other outside the white line
Max did the same to LeClerc in Austria, and he even pushed him off the track! (I'm a Ferrari fan BTW) It was Max's corner just like this was Magnussen's corner.
@@theflyinggasmask what max did was on the wrong side of hard racing. He really did ram leclerc out of the track. Max should've received a penalty for that.

Great job Joylon, I really enjoy your race analysis ..thank you !
These are brilliant! Thanks, Jolyon!
this is an excellent video as always
Once again, Jolyon provides the most cogent analysis of an F1 race you can find. Amazing.
As always, a great video! even more for the best race in 2019
This is by far the best content on this channel, together with Paddock Pass. Love Palmers detailed analysis
Any day is a good day when you can start with an analysis of Jolyon. Thanks again for this great video!
Great stuff again J P love your insight as always
Waited so long for this
I have been waiting for this
Perfect analysis!
Love the enthusiasm as well.
Great analysis! Thanks!
As unforgiving as the runoff at turn 16 was, it made for a very entertaining race and really shook the field up; some cracking results throughout! The strategists actually had something to do for a change!
Also if it is true that this was the one race Mercedes let Netflix in then that is just hilarious...”no no I swear we’re more competent than this, see our other races!”😂
I read somewhere that Lewis won't allow Netflix to use what they shot of him because of him beeing ill... If so why did he let them film him ?
I hope they will use his boardradio saying "Retire the Car" !!
henk m I highly doubt he would let Netflix even try to film him being sick
Where did you even get the proof?
Please let this be true... I want to feel and savour the mood inside Mercedes garage during this race.
@@henrywhatzal4724 Merc only wanted Netflix to film them in one GP and they chose the German GP and the Netflix series will be the proof. As i wrote i read it somewhere so i can't give you a 100% garantee but he gave tv interviews so if he won't be in the Netflix series you now know why. Maybe him feeling ill or maybe the result of.....?
Good as always, thanks!
Fantastic analysis. Very illuminating.
I’ve been looking forward to this
Best Analysis of the weekend comes on Wednesday. Great job Jolyon!
Now if we could just get sprinkler systems installed on run-off areas and mandatory two stop races.
The final line "incredible stuff" sums up your analysis Jolyon! Great to watch
Best F1 Analysis available at the moment. Period.
Great analysis as always
Enjoyed the vid and race. was a nice way to make a post-race review as well. gj
Liked the video before even watched a second. Jolyon is the best analyzer honestly.
I really like this. It was a true analysis of the race and racing!
Amazing analysis.
Please keep these going!!
The bottas crash aerial analysis was the biggest highlight for me.
Great job Jolyon Palmer, as with every other analysis.
The aerial shot of Bottas was cool, and illustrative. I'd like to see more aerial shots in highlights.
good analysis Jolyon especially on Bottas tires just going off on the wet! very impressed well done
Epic stuff JP
The F1 post-race video I look forward to the most!
We need this circuit in the next years
Great analysis as per usual
Love this analysis :)
Love this
Great to see Palmer again! Please keep this coming.
Yes Palmers analysis!!!!!!!! Love this!!
i dont think charles was unlucky in lap 28. He already knew from the past laps it was a difficult corner. This was completely his own fault.
He was unlucky cause he got oversteer that forced him wide, in lap 25 you saw that he took it really slowly when he ran wide by himself to avoid exactly what happened when he crashed
Zanzaroni GR no thats not unlucky come on i love Charles but i hate the people that do if he is a saint. How many times he crasht but noooo its unlucky if it is Max ooooooehhh
Pooow shals :( poow boy :( so unlucky this poow bwoyy
Just shut up already 😂 He fucked it up no one else.
It’s ok if he was mature he would have driven even slower third time round and prevented the crash lack of maturity and experience shows up max on the other hand looks way more mature in handling this type of track
@@okidoki878 I am a Ferrari fan and I really like how Max is evolving, but you've got to remember that racing drivers rely on consistency. If you could accelerate/brake at a specific point on the last lap, especially when the team fitted you on soft tyres (when the track is expected to get faster) then you believe that you can do the same, but the track got worse, that is the same reason Verstappen had a spin after the curve. What makes Charles unlucky is that what he didn't expect occured exactly at the worse part of the track because it instantly threw him in the slippery drag strip. It is in a sense a similar mistake to Vettel last year on the curve as the nature of the crash is the same, but Vettel should have been much more careful since the track was getting more and more wet, instead of drying.
great content !
Amazing analysis!
6:27... man, what a great analysis! Hire this man to work for the Stewards
This is gonna be a long one boys get your popcorn 🍿
Another exellent analysis by Jolyon

I am stilling waiting for more videos on this epic GP.
I love this analysis of Jonathan, and you even zee things which were not broadcasted during the race. Missed a piece about Renault though with the 1000pk engine in smoke and the Hulk with the same corner incident. Norris lost the car almost to the grid and knew also T16 before

Have been looking forward to this video, Palmers’ analysis are in My opinion almost always spot on. It’s Nice a driver does these and Palmer is nailing IT !!
digg these vids
Hey Jolyon! :) Thank you for your insight on F1 races!
Please tell me more about the wonderful picture you have on the background: were was it taken, at what recing event, etc!
Cheers
It's amazing what a couple of showers of rain during the GP the way it turns a procession in the dry into one of the most exciting races of modern time into a classic!
I'm even voting for every race to have the water trucks spray water around every circuit before the start, then follow the last car in a safety car spraying fresh water on track just to spice it all up again. I love seeing 5 or 6 pit stops and the carnage at Mercedes.. Well it was just a brilliant watch!
As always, very interesting video. Especially the explanation pertaining to Leclerc. I wish we could have watched a comparison between Bottas and Hamilton. It’d been even more interesting...
Give this man a job for F1 reporting. Best of the best..
good video!
