It took me years to watch the movies with the 1701-E in them and I barely watched any Star Trek at all for years after that.
Seeing this scene healed my inner child that was so upset at losing 1701-D. I can't thank Terry Matalas, the writers, and Dave Bless and the rest of the production crew for giving us this. So many of us needed this so bad and we didn't even know it... 🖖🏻🖤
Scenes like this, that bring back fond emotions, are why theater in all its forms are so wonderful. And characters such these are priceless treasures of memories. Thank you to the creators, actors, directors, producers, and in no small part, to the person who posted this video!
Wow. Seeing the crew just amazes me again
Let’s make sure history never forgets the name… Enterprise.
After 60 times now still get teary eyed everytime. Why?
Gotta love how Geordi tries to NOT look amused when the computer refers Picard as Captain.
I imagine after Picard said she'll fly I wish he also say "My friends' we've come home, the enterprise-D was their first home and there back with her again for one last ride and before saying engage, he should've also said "Let's see what she's got!
I know that's what Kirk says at the end of IV, but instead of "Let's see what she's got!", imagine if Picard said "Let's see if she's still got it!"
This was one of those great Star Trek moments that was high on the scale of 1 to OMG!!! And the fact that she goes on to single-handedly kick the Borg Collective’s butt once and for all was just as great too!
Damn. Seeing big D fly has got to be the best small screen moment for me in the last 20 years. ❤
A grand lady makes her return and I cried seeing her
And she was just as beautiful as the day we first saw her. Possibly even more so.
The NX-01 and the D in the same shot. Never thought I’d see that!
Rewatching this now, with the last character entering the scene (Ent-D), Picard regains that energetic voice of command....
The frail,.old man is retired ....
The veteran rises.
Leave it to the OGs to come back and save the entire franchise.
Probably the most powerful scenes in tv history
That subtle Shirt Tug at 4:42 is honey on the Gold.
This warmed my heart when I first saw it
Dr.Crusher's hand gesture... amazing.
She does the same thing in "All good things."
This moment always brought tears of joy to my eyes all the time.
When the lights come on that’s old girl waking up and stretching her old bones and when she powers up that’s her roaring read to remind history and the Borg to never forget the name Enterprise
I absolutely almost shed a tear of happiness when I saw that. I was as giddy as a little girl getting a unicorn. I always figured they might salvage the saucer but for spare parts not to rebuild it. Luckily for them and us that Geordie was nolstagiac.
Not even going to pretend that I didn't ugly cry. I saw every episode of TNG as it aired. The show taught me much about trying to see things from the perspective of others.
The Refit was the first Enterprise I saw and I call 'home'. Yet the D is where I would go just to get away for a moment
When I see pictures of this I thought they had recreated it but wow I cannot believe it's the same ship. Legit brought a tear to my eye.
Seeing the bridge come online was emotional enough, hearing Majel again was the straw that broke me haha
The main difference betwen S3 and the previous 2 is that S3 was written by people who love Star Trek. And NCC-1701-D is still the best design.
Just like all the crew reunited in the previous episode, this is where Season 3 of Picard really became the long awaited Season 8 of TNG😄 Imagine if they'd put on the TNG uniforms again (even though Patrick Stewart had requested Picard not wear a uniform in this show).
THE E LIVES!!! IT'S ONLY DAMAGED!!!
When Star Trek is done right it’s magic
After all these years we never truly saw what she was capable of until this episode. We always knew what data was capable of but that's some bad ass flying for such a large ship. Never saw her used that way.
it sucks that Disney and Kathleen Kennedy prevented an onscreen reunion, or an onscreen interaction of any kind with Han, Luke, Leia, Lando, C3-PO, R2 and Chewie for one last time, Star Trek treated its fans much better.
KENNEDY: A reunion with Han, Luke, Leia, Lando, C-3PO, R2 and Chewie? Over my dead body!
Seth showed them the way back with "The Orville"
Best damn scene in the entire show!
The TOS movies are all older than I am, I grew up on the Next Gen era. This scene made me realize how we were supposed to feel when watching the scene showing off the refit 1701 at the beginning of The Motion Picture.
Star trek Picard had this on DVD to.😊💖🖖
Now I really want to know what happened to the E
Star Trek: Prodigy episode 19 "Supernova"
thats why we love it. Greetings from germasny.

It was impressive that the theme that reminded us of Generations played at this moment. For those who love the Enterprise D, time has stood still since that moment. And at this moment, the clock started to move again.
The scene was a tear jerker seeing the D back in action. I just find it hilarious at the fact they compared the Enterprise D to an "analog" ship
