recently dug deep on their origins and it''s insane System of A Down, Incubus, and Seven Dust all came out of the same area/ era

I had a chance to see this lineup live twice. Drummer is maybe the most entertaining live drummer I've ever seen.

Circa 1996 Long Beach California in a small club, my eyes were opened to the amazing and talented Snot.. R.I.P Lynn. Every few years I just replay this album and relive my childhood, thank you for preserving.
R.i.p Lynn. Still rockin all these years later with this timeless album. Can't believe its been 22 years
resisted listening to these guys for many years. because well you know... nu-metal.. boy was I young and dumb..Glad I finally put that behind me, great band.
I've learned to ignore folks and their tendency to try to classify music. Regardless of the type of it sounds good to you just listen and enjoy my friend.

It might actually be the greatest album of all time, which makes the whole story so much more tragic.
EPIC! totally reminds me of when good music was still an underground thing and you had people actually writing their own music...not saying there isnt some decent stuff out there but there is just less of it

I remember in high school me and my friends skipped school and went to guitar center to get some guitar pics and they were giving away this song in cd form to everyone who came in. Haven't heard this sing since that day and it brought back so many memories.
Their drummer was definitely into funk
What a freaking great and unique album. Definitely gone too soon, these guys were great. Love this album, and always really loved Stoopid, just grooves.
Now all of these guys in this band were talented and gifted guys im not denying that, but i feel the real stand outs were the drummer and their vocalist.Lyn had a great voice like really identifiable and a great shout holy crap and Jamie Miller was amazing in the drums and really make his drumwork easily identifiable,really underrated guy who deserves more attention

Strange that I`ve never picked this band`s album up. I`ve known about these guys since I was 12, but never did anything. Pretty cool band, even if they were lumped in with the whole nu metal scene.
Nobody was considered "numetal" until ass hats didnt know how to classify the fusion of rap rock bands. They might of been on the top of the scene but to stay relevant they would have to beef up the sound or be mediocre. The flooding of the scene is what killed a lot bands. Just look at any "numetal"s band progression.

Back in the day it was just called metal lol then they started calling it nu metal but Snot was kind of a punk band. I was supposed to see them back in like 97 but the lead singer died.

IF this band would have been around for the numetal wave they would have had to adapt to the harder sound or be passed up. The praise they receive is only because of the death.
This is groovey and heavier than most. A lot different from the nu metal of the time.
this band would have been swallowed up by the "nu metal" wave of bands that came through. There are to many bands that have this sound and do it better.
