Just wanted to thank you so much for all your help on the second attempt at CPAP therapy. Failed miserably the first time, but this time I followed all your advice about range, thermal, accessories and hacks. This time SUCCESS - hallelujah, hallelujah - prayers for you and your family.
G’day all . Off subject but I just spent the first night above three thousand meters here in Nepal using the air mini. My altitude is 3700 meters fully one thousand above the recommended max altitude for the airmini. The app gave me a score of 98 with pressure at 12 cms. The battery discharged 75 percent over ten hours , not a lot to do here after dark so having longer than normal sleeps. The Medstrom recharged in one hour this morning using their charger . So all good if U want to trek I say no problem to at least 3500 meters. Tomorrow am going to 4000 meters , am excited to see how the air mini copes. Namaste.

I feel a bit guilty for not sharing my F&P data as I've been long-waiting for this. But after waiting toooo longer to buy a Z2, I bought an AS10 instead (for camping) and have been getting used to that since Xmas. I recently returned to my F&P for a month as a comparison. I use similar settings but the masks are totally different. I believe I sleep better, with less AHI with the AS. So it'll be interesting to upload both AS and F&P data into SHQ. PS Is the Apple Watch just as good as the o2 ring?
This is excellent! Hoping to purchase the Sleep Style soon. I have been doing my trial with a Resmed 10 (only thing available in my small country town for a trial). I’ve had two tank leaks in two weeks & the stockist doesn’t seem to have the 11 that I can see. I can get the F&P through a local pharmacist for a good price though. I have been referred to do another sleep study with a CPAP & to see a sleep neurologist. Do I need to wait to buy a machine until after those appointments? Because at this rate it could be another 3 months before then, and I only have a little over a week left on trial
You guys need a wifi sd card that automatically uploads to sleephq. If I am going to bother with moving around sd cards and usb sticks I will just stick to oscar.
Which do you think is the better device for APAP? ResMed 11 or F&P SleepStyle? You made a video before on algorithms, but didn’t really go into whether a device was better to use night to night or not.
Nicko recently made a video that compared machines and the F&P came out on top (maybe that's the one you refer to, but doesn't that answer your question?)

@@jaycorbin Still an odd question. It’s a computer program, it will behave consistently the same way night after night. The variables are the person, the mask and any settings that you change.
just to ask, does this machine offer the capability to change the temperature of the heated tube, or is it just one singular fixed temp for the tube of 30 degrees Celsius like hybernite ?
love your videos nick. question regarding the noise between Z2 compared to the fisher n paykel icon plus. im using fisher n paykel icon plus, with a quiet air elbow and the full face F20 mask but have been contemplating for a couple of yrs about getting either the Z2 OR the resmed airsense 10. out of the 3 of them, which do you think is quieter? the fisher n paykel icon plus ramps up for 10 mins but other machines ive seen take longer which is good for falling off to sleep. in new zealand, theres nowhere that does trials of the machines and ive been searching for videos on here of people using the 3 machines, hence i wanted your take on it. ps, your advice on the fisher n paykel icon plus water chamber was helpful coz i havent used that for yrs and it hasnt affected the dry mouth. thansk :)

I'm signed up and getting my APAP in May. I use an oral appliance now an d look fwd to seeing if I get better sleep with the machine.
