What a dreary drive. Chuckle. I live here and do this drive a lot and it looks so much better in real life. Especially when the trees are leafed out and everything is blooming. A very pretty city.
Yes!!! You are on Pearl Street, where the old Greyhound Bus station used to be yep! And the downtown area, I used to walk and ride my 10-speed bike from 1974-1975 during my summer visits to family:). And I come come home to visit 2- times a year from the SF Bay area since 2004 yep😀😀
It depends on where you are moving from and what expectation you have for this city. I think it is perfect for the size of it, and people here are extremely friendly :)
I lived in Eugene in the late 70's early 80's; the town is unrecognizable now.
What do you mean ???
@@Jakas-qt6hj - I mean, the city doesn't look anything like it did 40yrs ago.

I was just thinking that. Eugene is so pretty in the spring and summer.
It’s a spruced up of city full of life and trees. It’s urban rustic feel makes me feel right at home.

@@raulramirez9830 Eugene has a problem with bike thefts but it's otherwise pretty safe. It's about an hour's drive from the Coast.
