On some models you have to long press the touch button to get the reset option.
Resetting did not solve my problem.

How long is a long press? I just got mine from Amazon but hadn't thought of having connectivity issues from someone else having it set up first would really appreciate the fix for resetting Mi Smart 4 if you can and to tell me which app to be using the Zepp Life one or Mi Fitness 🙏🙏🙏
