Water leaks is my biggest concern with the roof rack especially when I noticed that we had to drill holes. Makes me not comfortable. I am very hesitant with that roof rack. I am not taking any chances.
Start with a smaller pilot hole first or use a step bit... pull the rubber out first before drilling (y'all did it on the second hole).. silicone the rivnut before setting it as well. I found good luck with sika flex silicone. truck looks great though and coming along good..
Just wanted to say thanks for this video! Helping me a ton installing on my 2013 crew cab. I noticed you ended up putting the mounting brackets on the inside rather than the outside, I messed up there too, lol!
Tundra is starting to look beefy. Should make a mash up video from the time you bought it till now. Did you get the side lights working and any of your friends run any decent sliders for a Tacoma youd recommend? Good video.

They make good products. I have their front bumper for my tundra. I went with the Prinsu for my truck because it covers the entire roof.
Awesome video man. They sell another hooke roof rack thats longer as and goes back more toward your cargo light

Is the rivet threaded so you use that to bolt it down or is it just riveted down?
The ones I use are threaded. It is nice because you can mount stuff like that and not need a nut on the blind side, because it’s part of that rivet.
