I am really not in favor of Filipinos learning hangul because first of all we are not koreans. We are Filipinos and in our generation we should focus on learning our true language which is Filipino. Filipino has been deeply rooted in our culture however it is sad because people today especially students don't know much of our language instead they learn some other languages (example is hangul). So if I were the one to choose I would learn the language of making us a true Filipino.
@Angelic Mei for your information as WELL learning different language doesn't always mean that you will forget your mother tongue duhh do you think everyone can afford to speak and learn English as we do? Of course they can't so even if English is the primary universal language and as a matter of fact we might also should adjust whenever we go to other countries because not everyone can speak ENGLISH and UNDERSTAND them as you do! So please don't over REACT like it is a crime to learn another Language cause girl! it's their choice whether they want to learn 500 different language other than TAGALOG AND ENGLISH!
@Angelic Mei English is also not the second Language not for the fact that because America colonized the Philippines and the reason why it became the second language of the Philippines! So if it is only the Spaniard have colonized us then SPANISH will be the second language rather than English one way or another! No shade no tea just facts
