I left my home at 16 (God made a way to escape severe long term childhood abuse) and moved across the country I started a new life and became a Christian at 19, I will be 29 this year, I’m a single mother to an almost 5 year old and recently I escaped the charismatic Christianity and found reformed biblical theology and a sound church and despite my years of wanderings believing I knew Jesus but not knowing His word I suffered my identity was in my mental illness not my identity in Christ until recently when the Lord opened my eyes and saved me not only for my sake but for the sake of my little girl. He truly is a father to the fatherless and a husband to the widow, my life is no means perfect and I struggle financially, mentally still but when I take a look at everything I have I have all we need and that’s Gods providence I might not have extra this or that but I always have all I need and I’m humbled and grateful for all the ways he has tenderly loved me and cared for me and equipped me as a single mom to be everything I never had and that’s the power of Christ in me! Thank you for this sermon ❤God bless you Voddie for your obedience and diligence to uphold Gods word and teach His lost sheep. My pastor told me when I first started going I was a sheep without a shepherd and to seek first the kingdom of God and it’s been since January my life has been totally transformed all glory to God the Father and my loving Savior Jesus Christ 🥹

As we watch social media platforms honor the worlds coronation today, let’s not forget the True Coronation of King Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We must call on the name that is above every other name which is Jesus Christ, our chain breaker, giving us strength to stand. We are Overcomer’s and must stand on the Word of God, because he is not a God of confusion, but of peace. Stay encouraged and serve Jehovah God, through his son Christ Jesus. 💁🏾🇺🇸🙏

However thanks be to God for his grace for using my pathetic, stumbling attempts at shepherding my family, to bring my five children [Voddie, you put me to shame for my small family!] to faith and choosing Godly spouses and leading faithful family life in their turn.

This sermon hit me so hard. I married a Godless man, and had two daughters. Yes, if I could tell any young woman one thing, it would be as you said, run. Don’t marry that man. I failed my children, they chose him, and no faith. Your last words, that God is father to the fatherless, that gives me hope. That some way he will help lead them back to him, and maybe me. Amen Thank you.🙏

I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.””

One of the thing I would like For Pastor to do after those type of message in conclusion , those type of principal dont apply to somebody that's already married , because you dont women take that literally and go beat on their husband head , and put them in sin as well ,although Eli was a great prophet of God he fail to teach his son them , although God call David a man according to his we know what happen to his family, this is to select elders and sometimes the mind fail at the end of the day, God make provision for ppl that has already married and come to the faith , this only apply to single ppl , and for elders

We all must work out our own salvation. The Bible is True. The flesh man cannot always understand the meaning but the gift of the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth. Stay encouraged and listen to Him In secret and he will direct your path. We are his temple and he dwells in us. Be careful of co-dependency in all relationships. God is alive and still on the throne.

SHEPHERDING IS NOT THE ONLY CALL OF A CHRISTIAN
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” (Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)
    PROPHETS STILL VALID.
““Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” (Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)
    Aren’t you biblical?
