Been wanting to loc up as well, but fear traction alopecia, or the other issue where the hair begins to thin and the parts get wider, still a form of traction alopecia a my scalp can be sensitive.
@lilkieahmassaline721 when I get my locs wash I soak it too I know what you talking about but my locs be in the water along time not just no 15 to 20 minutes either my hair is clean.

Wow that is interesting because I have been using conditioner and leave in conditioner for a while and my locs are fine

I don’t use conditioner either. It dries my locs
I have 4c hair how do I keep my locs looking good
Keep it clean, keep it moisturized and don't put heavy products in it
