  • Stowed in a corner in the deep treasure chest, another full recording of Stephanie Trick Quartet hits the light, featuring Stephanie Trick and Paolo Alderighi playing the grand piano, backed by Marty Eggers, doublebass and Danny Coots, drums. The setting was a brand new churchlike building in Walnut Creek, CA, at the Rossmoor retirement community center, March 11th, 2014. Visiting the Monterey Jazz Bash for the first time in March 2014, the great music performances got to our hearts. We were kindly invited to a special event, unknown for us, at Rossmore, east of San Francisco. Mr Robert Burch, insisted we come, as we had a couple of days to spare before leaving San Fransisco for Europe. We found our route to the new place and what a win! Please enjoy this second set.

THANK U so much CANDCJ for this wonderful recording!
This is the new generation of great jazz pianists.
Hope that Trick and Alderighi will going on and on and on...
My favorite Jazz pianist is still Dick Hyman, but I enjoy
Trick and Alderighi more and more

Stephanie congratulations to you both for the love you have for each other! I am originally from St. Louis Missouri, born and raised there from 1953-1988 and still have my heart there in the greatest Midwest city and gateway to the west! Have you ever tasted the Ted Drews frozen custard in south city? Blessings to you both

Great sound. Love watching Danny Coots. He is so relaxed regardless of tempo.

Marvellous. Also through the small loudspeakers of my IPad an early morning some days after hearing "the Real Thing", which means a live concert at The Riverboat Jazz Festival in Silkeborg, Denmark, Fri. 23rd of June. And: They were sooo goood. Stephanie and Paolo, The New Fats and the new Erroll.

Lucky You, hope you'll also be number one on set 1, which will be in the air in a while. I take it you are watching and listening from a big screen with good speakers!

Paolo tends to dominate too much. Stephanie is much better on her own.

I envy Paoulo sitting next to Stephanie. If I were sitting by that beautiful face I would be kissing her every time she turned my way. She is so beautiful, but also much more talented than Paoulo. .What piano playing!!! NOW THAT IS Talent. SO YOUNG, YET SO BEAUTIFUL. BRAVISSIMO STEPHANIE

Don't think she is anymore talented but I prefer her type of jazz to that of Paolo's. And couldn't agree more about how beautiful. I have met her twice and she might even be more beautiful in person.

If you did that, how long do you think she would go on playing piano with you?
