No joke, I am a fish lover, and this is my favorite channel because I love watching all of the fish shipments and fish room tours! JUST found out that it turns out your store is in my State! Now I have to come to your store! Thank you for the awesome videos!
I know you said you were thinking about going back to a few videos a week on your live stream. But I seriously love the daily doses! I love waking up to an aquarium co-op video! I love all the info you put up. It of course is up to you but I just wanted to let you know I love all your videos!
Hi Corey! I recently got some fancy guppies after watching one of your videos on them. I am LOVING them! I have three females with red and black tails, and a male snakeskin with a red/green tail. I think I'll need to get more! Thanks for highlighting them!
Cory, how many nerite snails do you recommend adding to a community tank? I have a 36 gallon, decent amount of algae on back, hair algae on some of the plants. I added two nerite snails a week ago, they don't come out much, and don't appear to be making any progress
+Ryan McCullough if they aren't coming out of their shell that usually means your water isn't right for them or they are being harassed. I recommend 1 snail per 5 gallons typically.
How much does this 240 gallon tank cost? been looking into 60 gallon tanks and they seem to be around £300-£500 is that normal? plus do you know any good underground websites i could look at?
+Eric K Java moss can't be bought commercially, so unfortunately none will be coming. Unless I was to how it in all my tanks, it is I unlikely it will go on the website.
I have a question, my mini grass is turning Brown and dying in my Betta Tank, my Marino balls, Amazon sword are fine, lighted LED tank, what am I doing wrong?
Hey aquarium coop are you thinking of expanding your shipping to out of America and if so any idea of when?? From down under in Australia P.S love the videos and fish
I would get a BN pleco for algae.. they are awesome and the same size. You don't want to deny an animal the food they need and the food they require. I have a Clown pleco, they are very shy. She will eat algae here and there, but I find Bristlenoses do a better job, followed by rubber lip. Good luck! On a side note, do be careful adding another pleco in with the Clown.. some are highly territorial. I know mine has killed any that have been in the same tank :(
Cory, any tips on doing maintanance on tanks with Shrimp? I have some ghost shrimp, I didn't think I had the environment for them to breed, which I was okay with but as a did my water change today, I noticed a tiny baby shrimp. Now I am worried, I may have sucked some up during all previous gravel vacs. -__-
I'd say things like water sprite, vallisneria, java moss, aponogeton crispus, and others are great. Mostly get some decent fertilizer and a decent light. Add plants and enjoy!
Hey Corey I have a question. So I bought 6 panda cory cats like a few months ago and one day they all disappeared! The tank is 80 gallons. What could have happened to them? I checked everywhere and I couldn't find them! I even checked the gravel and the corys still weren't there! I have a tank hood and lots of filtration. What could have happened to those cory cats? Why did they disappear?
Aquarium Co-Op I don't think anything ate them. They were the only fish in the tank. Up to this day, it remains a mystery. I might not ever have any cory catfish until I know what exactly happened to them. How can they go missing all of a sudden? I searched up missing cory catfish online and some people also said that their cory catfish went missing within a few weeks or days. I guess I am not the only one. Hopefully I find out what happened to my 6 panda cory cats.
Hey Corey, Im moving from New York City to Arizona next week I'd like to bring my 2 Raphael catfish but I'm conflicted about which bags to ship them in I want to go with Breather Bags but I'm afraid the spines on the catfish will pop the bag in Transit They are both 1.5 inches long Any ideas?
xxdylanchickenxx king Sure if you're tank size allows it. But i wouldn't go with a M and a F of each type. 1 M fish per 3 F fish. So I would recommend all females or all males or you could have 1/2 male guppies(or whatever live-bearer) and 4/5 females. Goodluck!
hey corey, I am wanting to breed celestial pearl danios. I have done a ton of research and to be comfortable they need lots of plants and I have never done a planted tank before, what are some quick recommended plants to research and look into getting? thanks!
Okay so I just got some plants from my local fish store and I need help. How can I keep the plants from being uprooted before they grow roots? How can I grow the roots well? Is it bad that they come out of the substrate during the night for a while until I put them back in the morning? It only happens at night
+Kolton D plant weights can help. You can also float them till they grow more roots. Getting uprooted is more of just a pain and not that much of a. Inconvenience for the plant.
okay thank you very much. also, ive had fish in this tank for the past few months and kept the same substrate, not planted. with all the accumulating waste, do you think its necessary to add root tabs? I dose "API leaf zone." would you recommend anything else?
If it's working for you, keep it going, but API leaf zone tends to be a pretty mild fertilizer. We developed Easy Green to be much stronger. www.aquariumcoop.com/products/easy-green-all-in-one-fertilizer?variant=17073627844
A local gravel yard, or you can order it from our website. The sand is kinda expensive because we have to ship it... and it's heavy. www.aquariumcoop.com/products/aquarium-co-op-super-sand?variant=21370484356
Cool!! are there small goldfish though or do they all get large overtime? I only have a 10 gallon tank free right now but I'm thinking of getting 20 or 30 gallons for goldfish but was thinking of using the 10 gallon for a temporary tank, they'll only be staying there for a few months max
you claim that your goldfish tank in the live stream room was a failure. I disagree, anybody that has kept fish has been through similar scenarios, it is almost inevitable. in my opinion it's only a failure if you choose to except defeat, which you did not, you diagnosed the problem and for the most part, cured it. in my opinion, that is a success. Anyway, I've learned from your experience, and now have the tools to fix such a problem should it ever present itself. thnx, Corey. looking forward to the next video.
+squad_qdizzlef yeah, I'm just disappointed I didn't anticipate the problem with the installation of the new heating system. I know better than to make changes right before I go out of town.
Other nano fish like kuhli loaches, dwarf rasboras, dwarf corydoras, green neon tetras etc can live in a 5 gallon. A 5 gallon is a bit cramped to do a community.
No joke, I am a fish lover, and this is my favorite channel because I love watching all of the fish shipments and fish room tours! JUST found out that it turns out your store is in my State! Now I have to come to your store! Thank you for the awesome videos!
Nice! How lucky that we are in the same state :)
yeah! super cool (: do you ever carry green spotted puffers?
We don't cause they are brackish.
I know you said you were thinking about going back to a few videos a week on your live stream. But I seriously love the daily doses! I love waking up to an aquarium co-op video! I love all the info you put up. It of course is up to you but I just wanted to let you know I love all your videos!
Thanks for the support :) For now, don't worry, still doing daily videos.
Awesome hat! And nice pin!
SNAIL POWER!!!!!!!!!! Would have been fun to see the ghostknife capture, I am curious to know how to move larger knifefish :)
I was also waiting to see the ghostknife capture. Oh well. Big fish are a pain to move.
hey cory you should do a blackwater fish tank at some point. I think that would be cool
wanting large tanks like a 240 makes me happy to have a semi at my disposal
Hi Corey! I recently got some fancy guppies after watching one of your videos on them. I am LOVING them! I have three females with red and black tails, and a male snakeskin with a red/green tail. I think I'll need to get more! Thanks for highlighting them!
Glad you're enjoying. I pretty much can't get enough of them.
Looking forward to the video on turning that old tank into a nice one!
+BellaZita3 me too honestly.
Cory, how many nerite snails do you recommend adding to a community tank? I have a 36 gallon, decent amount of algae on back, hair algae on some of the plants. I added two nerite snails a week ago, they don't come out much, and don't appear to be making any progress

hey corey were did you get the 80s keyboard music i just sit there bobbing my head everytime it comes on hahah
+Lazlows Aquarium royalty free websites is where I fins my music.
Im looking forward to the next home show, hopefully its soon
Should be next Saturday.
How much does this 240 gallon tank cost? been looking into 60 gallon tanks and they seem to be around £300-£500 is that normal? plus do you know any good underground websites i could look at?
+Matthew B 240 Gallo S are expensive new. Used they are 500 to 1000
Aquarium Co-Op Okay thanks gives me a better understanding when i go and buy a 60 gallon in the future :)
Loving those Corey's top video
What is the water temp in the gold fish tank for this video? They look super active compared to last couple of vids.
Dan Johnson I think it's around 70
+Madilyn Bauknecht correct, with the fan it sits at 70 now.
Any Java moss with your shipment and will it be available on the website?
+Eric K Java moss can't be bought commercially, so unfortunately none will be coming. Unless I was to how it in all my tanks, it is I unlikely it will go on the website.
Because it grows too slow to be profitable. Any that is available commercially has been grown out of water and struggles to convert.
I have the broad leaf jungle val they love it if you give it more light, the tank you have it in is kinda dark
I want some of those beautiful goldies! And some plants :)
I hear your music, and I think "Boot n Pants and Boots n Pants"
BARBADOS CORYS ARE SO COOL!!!
hello cory, mistery snail its pomacea diffusa? or what species?
Lol is the "No Smoking," sign a novelty or did you have to place it because someone lit up in there? Haha
It was there when I bought the place and I have just let it be there :)
Love your videos, so inspiring! :) Also, what small-medium fish does good with neons?
+Wiggler111 apistogrammas, gouramis, corydoras.
I have a question, my mini grass is turning Brown and dying in my Betta Tank, my Marino balls, Amazon sword are fine, lighted LED tank, what am I doing wrong?
Hey Cory where can I get a snail cap like yours? I really want it.
Lids.com you go through their custom graphics until you find the snail.
Thanks a lot buddy.
Hey aquarium coop are you thinking of expanding your shipping to out of America and if so any idea of when??
From down under in Australia
P.S love the videos and fish
+Aidan Michie not currently as customs and such make it a pain.
You saved the gold headed black gold fish that's awesome he was just hating life...
Yep, they all made it :)
Hey Corey, I have a Clown Pleco. Are they good algae eaters and I'm not being patient? Or do they not eat algae that much?
+Joseph Jones they mostly meat eaters.
Aquarium Co-Op Will they eat algae at all?
+Joseph Jones they eat some algae, yes.
Aquarium Co-Op will they eat algae if they don't have another food source
I would get a BN pleco for algae.. they are awesome and the same size. You don't want to deny an animal the food they need and the food they require. I have a Clown pleco, they are very shy. She will eat algae here and there, but I find Bristlenoses do a better job, followed by rubber lip. Good luck!
On a side note, do be careful adding another pleco in with the Clown.. some are highly territorial. I know mine has killed any that have been in the same tank :(
Another informative video.
Thanks for watching :)
Looking forward for more videos :)
African butterflyfish, spiny eels and a bristlenose in a 75litre?
Might be a tad small, but it could probably be done.
Aquarium Co-Op what about just the eel and the African butterfly fish?
Cory, any tips on doing maintanance on tanks with Shrimp? I don't gravel vac much in shrimp tanks. I have plants soak up the nutrients.
Thank you for the prompt reply, how do you handle the buildup in the substrate? thank you
Well the plants should be converting the build up into plant structure.
Cory, Is there a proper way to cut Jungle Val? It seems to stop growing after I cut it just below the water line. Thanks!
I don't think so. I find mine keeps growing after I cut though.
Just looking for some plant advice which plants would u advise for a community breeding tank with a gravel bottom
I'd say things like water sprite, vallisneria, java moss, aponogeton crispus, and others are great. Mostly get some decent fertilizer and a decent light. Add plants and enjoy!
How about a ... 1 tank at a time for Plecos!!!!
To go missing that quick makes me think something ate them?
Aquarium Co-Op I don't think anything ate them. They were the only fish in the tank. Up to this day, it remains a mystery. I'd put them into like a ice tea cup,and put that into the bag. the fish stays inside the cup and can't puncture it.
can I use bottled water like sparkletts to fill my aquarium?
hay guys!! im new to the fish hobby and i was wondering what fish i could have in a 10 gallon tank
Guppies are fun.
Could i have a mixture of molly guppy and platty maybe like 2 of each
xxdylanchickenxx king Sure if you're tank size allows it. But i wouldn't go with a M and a F of each type. 1 M fish per 3 F fish. So I would recommend all females or all males or you could have 1/2 male guppies(or whatever live-bearer) and 4/5 females. Goodluck!
FintasticFish thx soo much
Hey Cory I have a male betta and he has a large lump underneath his mouth. Any ideas on what that is?
Could be a cyst, or a tumor. Generally if it's treatable improving water conditions/reducing stress can help.
hey corey, I am wanting to breed celestial pearl danios. I have done a ton of research and to be comfortable they need lots of plants and I have never done a planted tank before, what are some quick recommended plants to research and look into getting? thanks!
+Jax Jage Java moss is the easiest to use for spawning them. Spawning mops work well too.
Aquarium Co-Op thanks! your content is amazing. keep it up
+Jax Jage thanks for the support
What was that plant you had in the guppy and snail breeder
+Brendan ostrowski dwarf sagitaria

Aquarium Co-Op I will definitely order that as my next fertilizer and try it out once pay day comes! I didn't even think about your guys' fertilizer
No worries :)
Hey Cory, do u kno where I could get some lapis lustre sand???
A local gravel yard, or you can order it from our website. The sand is kinda expensive because we have to ship it... and it's heavy. www.aquariumcoop.com/products/aquarium-co-op-super-sand?variant=21370484356
Hey Cory are there smaller types of goldfish? I was thinking of getting some but don't have a big tank available at the moment
Sorry I miss spelled your name is it Corey?
Sure there are lots of what is called "nano" fish. You got it right the first time, Cory is the correct spelling :)
Cool!! are there small goldfish though or do they all get large overtime?
I only have a 10 gallon tank free right now but I'm thinking of getting 20 or 30 gallons for goldfish but was thinking of using the 10 gallon for a temporary tank, they'll only be staying there for a few months max
+skyrimfan1000 most all goldfish get large over time.
Oh ok thanks for the replies, by the way love your vids and thanks for all the advice you give us
What kind of plant fertiliser do you use?
Easy Green, the brand we have made for us. www.aquariumcoop.com/products/easy-green-all-in-one-fertilizer?variant=17073627844
Will African water fern do well in a hard water tank?
+Lisa C yep, thrives in hard water.
cory you are rocking that hat
I used to always wear a hat :P
Aquarium Co-Op but snail one is the best
you claim that your goldfish tank in the live stream room was a failure. Would I be able to keep them with a Betta in a 5 gallon?
What is this plant at 4:40 ????
I really want to buy those orange fish 9:52 please My ph is 7.8 and I do have alot of plants in my tank
Silvertip tetras should be relatively easy for you to find a local store.
Turtle eggs?
