I have a 2007 Toyota Tundra 5.7L 4wd with 250K miles. Still runs perfect. Other than the secondary bypass pumps tripping the codes (you can bypass those with a kit) I've had exactly zero problems with the truck. The 2020 Tundra is basically the same truck with different styling (and 10's of thousands more) I plan on getting 500K from my truck God willing. Great trucks! No need to upgrade.
@Jason Creech direct me toward more information on this please

That is the cleanest truck ever!! That guy never took it out of the garage for interior and exterior to be that perfect! The frame has zero rust or oil dripping!
By installing that additional hitch, you reduction his payload and towing capacity. The stock tundra hitch is design for the max tundra capacity already.
Bee Khang True it’s not even an upgrade at all
Tundra uses 6 bolts each side. Everyone else uses 6 total
I just bought a 07 tundra with a 5.7 a month ago and its been the best truck ive ever owned. ( had a 04 v6 before great truck) i love the truck for towing as its the best handling under a heavy truck ive owned. ( been driving a chevy 2500 with a 6.0 but its a completely different in every aspect) the only upgrade i have planned is a in dash with a camera. I loooooove my toyota and likely will never sell it
F$*k yeah!
Hey man I'm looking at getting a similar model truck with 96k miles. Do you still like your 07
I'd just put some new headlights and leave the rest as is.
krzrrazrrokr why mess with perfection am I right?
Where do you guys get your hair cut? I've been looking for a place to frost my tips. ;)
Nice Video. How about info on how you did things. Did you have to add the backup camera? How did you route it? Which model alpine radio did you use? Thanks
Do those silly leaf-spring trinkets just rattle around when they’re not engaged? No thanks. 👎🏼
I'd love to do this with a late 2000s/early 2010s Tundra. I may not do all the tow stuff on there, but I'd level it, change all the speakers, upgrade the head unit as they did to add BT, Nav, and BU cam, either leather the seats and new carpet or just clean the snot out of what's there. I'd settle for a level job but with new shocks/struts (whatever is needed) and new tires and wheels. But I'd also ditch all the chrome and go black. Then, I'd do a serious paint correction, primo bed liner, install a good bed cover, necessary and cool looking step/boards and call it a day.
Personally I would have replaced the front shocks after having to do all that work, love the Alpine
New Headlights would of been the biggest upgrade. It would improve driving and look.
I have the same truck 2007 Tundra Limited with 210k miles on it, it’s in great condition still, but could use some upgrades like this and the undercarriage could use some TLC thanks to Minnesota winters. Unfortunately I can’t afford it, but this is awesome.!
Great video! You guys rock
Personally I would of liked a more in depth before and after and maybe a $ amount on the total upgrades.
Looking forward to future vids!
Couldn't agree more about the interior and other things about this tundra and my 2013. It always takes a chevy or dodge guy to use the tundras suck they are old. Lol what more do you need in a teuck? Ots a truck and not a luxury sedan or crossover. I swear truck buyers today are like woman lol they want all the bells and whistles in a damn truck. It has a bed for hauling and tow hitch for towing and 4wd for challenging roads. Sorry it doesn't have something special to blow you off while you drive it. SMH.
With all the wheel combinations they went with the most dollar store looking set up I've seen since 1985.
I would upgrade the shocks, front adjustable struts for a level ride, I use air bags on rear with TRD anti sway bar, towing is great.
Why would they put another trailer hitch on the tundra when it has the factory one already and it's over built?
Yeah, I don't get that. Tundra Factory hitch is already plenty beefy, and is mounted to the frame very securely, too.
That silly little leaf spring doo-hickey seemed very rickety and quite useless. Certainly not something I'd put on my truck. If I was looking at increasing the stability of the truck under load, and reducing squat, I would look at a set of helper airbags.
To advertise
Plus if you're planning on doing heavy towing look into brake upgrades.
My radio on my 2007 is pretty flakey. Turns on and off randomly, hard to adjust volume. Nice to see it's not that big of a deal to replace.
Wow, nice to know that yours lasted this long. My rear view camera went out on mine after about four years. Replaced it with the Alpine INE W970HD.
Ok good video, but why didn’t you show the finished truck after the upgrades!
That was never a top of the line truck. That's a base model with leather seat covers.
I would like for them to answer the question about the hitch, why do they think it's better then the stock one??
Because they got paid to say so ;)
Are the rotors really suppose to be that thin? I just bought my tundra and they look thin.. I tought it needed newer ones
I don't understand why you guys don't have 100k+ subs
Great content 👍
so it would be good Idea to just update my 2007 tundra instead of getting a new truck huh?
Makes me want to buy a 2007 Tundra
I know I'm late to this video, but I've never seen a tow package with the holes for chain hooks up top, above the receiver inlet
The frosted tips, it's all about those frosted tips
Fun fact Guy Fieri used to sell mufflers on TV and is a car guy lmao
If i gave my truck to a friend for upgrades and it came back with lift blocks, they wouldn't be my friend anymore. They would also be swallowing teeth.
Those tips are frosty!
Should have left it stock.
We hate the Bluetooth on my car. My wife had connected her phone to it for a road trip. Then after the road trip we noticed that her phone would automatically connect to my Bluetooth. This got really annoying when we would take separate cars to an event. And we would go to drive off. And her phone connected to my car. And she was in hers.
We disconnected her phone and haven’t used it since.
4 inch lift, wheels, tires done.😊
nothing about how you installed the backup camera, because it sure as hell didn't come with one
The camera itself is only about $60 and it’s just plug n play with my Alpine receiver unit.
u guys sound like DJs not brokechanics lol
where is the best place to find a tundra like this with low millage?
sit long and hard on facebook market place. I picked up a 2007 tundra with 40k miles last year. clean title, one owner.
Low mileage? Who the fuck cares? The whole point of getting a Tundra is that is will last forever. Million miles drive trains. Pick up one that looks taken care with higher miles. Low mileage isn't always better. This is a 14 year old truck now. If it had any less than 140,000 miles i would begin to worry it wasn't driven regularly and the seals are starting to crack.
How about a video on converting a tundra rear end from my 430 to a 373 so you can get better gas mileage?
The towing package is meant for work, not for better gas mileage lol
How much gas you think you would save with new rear?
Step 1: $3,000 Air injection pump bypass
What’s that do?
bypass is only $75
just get the bypass kit. Plug and play and done. Those were badly designed attempts by Toyota to appease California.
You're correct sir. Glad you brought it up. Maybe $300 or thereabouts.
AWESOME VIDEO AS ALWAYS BROTHERS
Bad idea
Wow great vid, you guys deserve so much more views
That Alpine looked like shit 🤣 glad this video showed it so i don't make the mistake of buying it.
It’s not leather it’s vinyl
this feels so 2000s
Can those rims carry the same load as the stock rims as far as towing goes?
I don't believe it, Steel* rims are better for towing.
My brother bought the same ones that other tundra has ( check the other Video) and they crack the second time he tow the same trailer he used to tow with the steel ones
Its the 2007/2050 Tundra 😆
Tires are too small, could of gone a little bigger and wider, looks weird on that massive truck.
Yo ! Bruno !
how can i increase highway gas milage?
Get a Prius. It's a TRUCK
I got 18mpg on my 07 Tundra, SR5 doublecab , 5.7 4wd, 105,000 miles from South Lake Tahoe to Reno, 75 miles one way. I am happy , damm very happy, normal mileage is 12-15 mpg. I do have a lead foot that hurts the mileage.
@ F$*k YEAH!
You guys fucking rock
Its 2021 and the Tundra still looks the same. $50k for a dinosaur no thx. Plus the new ones are burning transmissions like crazy.
double hitch lmao
This show is getting stupid nothing about truck . Adds only for product
Typical american car guys adfing junk that does nothing to.make it a better truck but more like a car, jeez
