Im sorry you went through that. I worked in long term care during the pandemic and our facilty was also just destroyed. I quit after 18 months of watching people die and not being able to do a damn thing to stop it. Just know they werent alone. There were nurses and aides who loved them and comforted them when you couldnt be there. And we will never ever forget them.
My friend and her husband both had to be intubated. My friend got better and had her tube removed. When she did, they had to tell her her husband died 😢
