In case you´d like to know why the word problema breaks the rule that says that words that end with the letter a are feminine, it´s because the word problema comes from the Greek where it´s a masculine word. The same applies to the words planeta, cometa, clima, sistema, dilemma, idioma, telegrama, poeta. There may be other such words from the Greek, but those are the ones I can think of at the moment.
I didn’t know about the Greek thing, but the masculine nouns ending in “a” thing usually shows up with words ending in “ma” and “pa”, although “día” is also masculine.
I'm Bolivian and Honduran. Both my family always said " No problema. I hear a lot of Puerto Ricans here in America where I live say it as well. I mean, we all know what we are saying. Some of us use a lot of Spanish slang. I speak Spanish and that's how I've always said no problem.

Acá en El Salvador se oye a veces esa expresión "pura vida" ... obvio tenemos cerca a los costarricenses :D Aquí, además de algunas expresiones del video, solemos decir: ¿y por eso te preocupás? agarralo al suave :D ... Otra, "¡Nombre (contracción de "¡no hombre!") no te ajolotés!" o simplemente "ya estuvo/ya pasó, todo chivo". Sus videos son súper entretenidos!
These are great, I especially like everyone's accents on this channel. I wonder, did all the teachers learn English in the chunk manner? I really can't believe that I hadn't heard of it before. Can someone say "no problema" with an "a"? (Basically thereby omitting the "hay" in "no hay problema") I feel like this has to be more correct than "no problemo" with an "o".
People have stopped saying 'problem' in English as well, at least in American English, which is now the dominant variety of English world-wide. Everything is an 'issue' these days and not a 'problem'. I call this process 'linguistic impoverishment': the removal of precise and perfectly useful words.
I dont want to offend, but is your spanish accent what some mexicans would call "fresa?" It sounds so different to me because my family speaks like they came from the ranch. But i cant figure out where yours is from.

Whenever I've heard "No problemo" by a German speaker, never ever did this person try to make himself or others believe that this would be somehow right. I only know it as an expression of coolness that doesn't even pretend to be Spanish.

The U.S. is pretty ignorant about other languages and cultures though, hence all the memes of americans going to other countries and always asking if anyone speaks english lol. We even have very close friends who can speak fluent spanish, and he currently lives with two of them, and he still didn't know it was problema.
