    Actually just purchased one and recieved about 2 weeks ago. Thing rips around town like crazy...and I live in an area built into a valley. So two mountains on both sides. Being about 310lbs.... I'm surprised, this thing can climb! Even without pedal assist it seems it can tackle anything.

      I agree, this thing is neat. I spent 5 hours on Sunday riding it and had a blast.
      I will be making some modifications to the bike, so stay tuned it may interest you : )

    I know all to well about the bike walking away! I did it on the P8. Luckily it landed on top of me. I healed. It didn't get a scratch. Looking forward to your future posts. I have learned a lot from them. I will be looking into this new bike of yours.

      Yeah, my Philodo does not engage right away from a stand still. After over 9k miles that is what I am used to. With this I stopped and kept hanging on with one hand to move it, zoom off it went. I tried to stop it, but as the bike moved away, it put more into the throttle. I stuck the pedal into the gravel, so nothing was hurt. Only my pride ; 0) I try to turn it down now when I am parking. This thing has a lot of zip ; ) I spent 5 hrs the other day riding this, so more videos coming soon, thanks for watching.

    Highest concentration of Cottonmouths in the U.S. WTF, no thank you. I had enough in Vietnam, damn sea snakes and cobras.
    Anyway, yours is the best hill-climb demo of an e-bike on UA-cam. Talk about putting it through its paces, WOW! Based on your demo I'm getting one of these.
    I'm city folk (San Francisco) and need that kind of dual motor power for the hills.
    P.S. I'm gonna buy a spare battery. Well worth the price on these battery-eating bikes, especially for us retirees using these bikes like motorcycles (aka "throttle only" YEE HAW! The only way to roll.)

      Yeah, I know those hills well. Funny story, I had an Oldsmobile Diesel back in the day. We thought we would spend the day in SF riding around. The car was so gutless, I went half way up the hill and could not go any further and had to back down. The car was pathetic.
      This bike should have no problems, you can really feel the front motor when it kicks in. It is a lot of fun. If you want to support the channel there is a link in the description ; ) Thanks for watching

      @@papablueshirt Having to back down in reverse on a busy San Francisco street that's on a hill, Help me Lord, that's the stuff of my nightmares. That's almost as bad as my nightmares in grade school, in which I was sitting on the ground in the middle of the school yard, in nothing but my tighty-whities.
      Vignette: When walking up California Street to get home from the office, I would smell the scent of burning-up transmissions, and way back in the day, the scent of clutches going out, or the most common, overheated engines.
      And yeah, to this day I see some cars breaking down mid-hill or lacking the capability tackle our hills; end result: have to back down off the hill.
      To be sure: I dunno how two tons of American metal made it up SF hills back in the fifties and sixties.

    Love the videos....looking at buying this hanevear H 100 but I'm worried about spare parts ..seems like motors and controllers may be hard to find? Website doesn't list many parts.. Any ideas where to find them? And as far as top speed is there a way to unlock any further speed like most ebikes through the display? Thanks and keep up the great work..Glad your enjoying the bike..I'm looking to upgrade the freewheel also from your other video if I purchase this bike..and I'll use your links when I do..

      @papablueshirt  Рік тому +1

      Glad you like the videos : )
      I would not worry too much about parts, most of these types of ebikes use the same off the shelf parts. For example, every ebike I have owned has had the same stock freewheel. Which is why it is an easy upgrade. I talk to the CEO often, and they plan to keep making improvements with each iteration. They just released a new color [khaki], so I think they will be around for a while. I have personally put over 10k miles on hub motors, so they seem to last a while.
      You can unlock the speed or limit it in the settings. Top speed is about 30 mph which is pretty fast for a 20 inch.
      I do appreciate if you do purchase that you plan on using my link, it really helps the channel. The bike is really fun to ride and can go anywhere I would dare to ride LOL

    How do you like that seat??

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Рік тому

      I am still trying to decide. It is really comfy. I am too short for my Philodo, so I have learned to mount the bike like a horse. Put foot on pedal hit throttle and swing my foot over and ride. It does not work with the big seat, but then again I can stand over this so I can get on normally. But old habits are hard to break. I do have a sleeve coming and will try my suspension post and seat on it and see how it goes : )

    Do you have plans to do a range test with the stock battery/bike?

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Рік тому

      Yes, I filmed it this weekend and should have it edited by the end of the week. I won't give it away, but I will say it went further than I expected
      ; ) I will be doing more soon.

      @@papablueshirt cool thxs, I need a cheap spare bike.

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Рік тому

      It is bigger than it looks, but being a folding bike you can transport it pretty easy. It feels good to have a spare bike so if I am doing maintenance or something, I can still ride. The main reason I like this bike is we can get all 3 bikes in our van now and I do not have to settle for a whimpy bike. This thing really goes. More videos coming soon, Thanks for watching

      @@papablueshirt Ya, my Specialized Como suddenly just quit working on my ride Saturday, glad I bought it at local shop so took it in under warranty. About 10 miles from my 3000 mile goal.
      Ya I know I can't complete with you and that 10k goal. I believe I'm a bit north of you as temps have been in the 30s, sometimes making the 40s.
      Still waiting on the Wired Freedom dud in this month, but 3 bikes for one 70 yr old, is that too much?

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Рік тому

      Bummer on the breakdown, cool that it was still under warrantee. My stuff seems to breakdown after. My son won a corvette once through a Pepsi promotion, he was so excited until he read the date you had to win by, which was already expired. I think they do that on purpose LOL
      3000 miles is nothing shabby, congrats. Hopefully they will get it back to you before it turns too cold and you can roll it over.
      Yeah, it has been crazy warm. Turned cold below freezing at night for about a week to let us know it is coming, then it warmed back up. I think it was 77 on my ride today.
      Too many ebikes, Never. Makes me feel 16 again, you can not put a price on that. I put more miles on my bike than my car, so think of all the money I am saving ; )
