Are you perhaps referring to their speed over the ice? I’ve always loved this programme but I’ve just noticed that for quite a lot of this programme they appear to be skating quite slowly - although TV coverage can be deceptive I guess.
@@azbycx56 Not in particular. The program just failed to capture my attention in the same way that Mack & Mabel or Bolero did. I still enjoyed it though.
I skated for my country for the first time in 1963 in Obersdorf in the Ice Dance Junior European Championships with my ice dance partner Susan Sutcliffe. I was proud to be there and came 5th and my friends Bernard Ford and Dianne Towler came first but I am now so frustrated as NSA Gold Medalist (Ice Dancing) that at the age of 81 that I cannot access any footage of my performances. I would love to show family and friends some of my past performances. I have tried several times on You Tube to access either competitions TV programmes or exhibitions but failed so far.
I love this number from Barnum especially knowing that the amazing Michael Crawford who starred in Barnum in London and on tour helped with the choreography! The only thing that bugs me is Jane and Christopher’s costumes. They’re skating to circus music and the costumes don’t reflect that. They needed more color.
They are so fast and slick with their movements its amazing to see
It's absolutely, sublimely brilliant!
Thanks for uploading this magnificence!
Magnificent free dance. I personally prefer their 1982 and 1984 free dances. But this one is right up there.

The greatest ice dancers of all time. They also had a brilliant coach in Betty Callaway. We will never see their likes again.
This is my all time favourite
Their body proportions and height make them perfect partners. I absolutely love them! Jayne resembles Princess Diana in this short dance.

Акробаты. Не танцоры. Номер для эстрады.
Great at time but so naff and dated now
Everything changes, with time. Just think, a double axel used to be looked at in awe, but now the guys are doing quads!

1983!
I disagree. Their performances in ice dance have withstood the test of time. They are exceptional!
