underrated game
Glorious! And thanks for showing the texture pack!
I grew up watching my mom play c64 and this one! I enjoyed Carrie’s play through a lot more than Reinhardt’s. But this one was definitely an improvement and my favorite. Love the castlevania series
w/ complete sincerity and devoid of satcasm i say this:
your mom is awesome beyond awesome
and that it honestly the first time ive seen the Dagger/Knife useful for anything in this game
I never got this on my N64. Loved the first one.
it's a good game, they improved some of the problems it had in the previous one, it has 4 characters for the game, 2 more than the C64
Renon's contract should be legally unenforceable given that it contains a clause that Renon himself admits was impossible to read.
Not that I ever fought him. I never spent that amount in my playthroughs. I am just too frugal.
That is why you don’t sign something without first agreeing to the fine print.
In Schneider or Belmont’s case, he “agreed” to spend gold without knowing what the repercussions were of the demon characters that were written on the scroll. I guess, if you pick one of those up, you are now subject to purchase goods from Renon (if you want), and you’ll be condemned to death at his hands, if you spend over 50 Gs of gold.
I loved that they added the chain whip to this version but was so disappointed that the lightning whip is the final upgrade so you barely get to use the chain whip if you want full power. Would have been much cooler looking if the final upgrade was just the chain whip with the electric blue effect added to it that's used throughout the game. 🤷♂
2:31:10-Final round sort of
1:01:05 *HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!!!*
Love this version. Adds more details to the graphics. Was it just me or was there a voice in the prologue talking ?
I think only Cornel's campaign has an intro narration
The voice is by Scott McCulloch, he also did the voice of Richter Belmont in Symphony of the Night
I know in the first N64 they added a small voice act “courage be with me” and when they first encounter Dracula. wished they added more. It was definitely an underrated Diamond piece game.
I didn't know there are HD texture pack for this game.
Ngl Reinhardt's Vampire Killer at Max Level looks like Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth...🤔
yes it looks like it
2:31:11-Final Round Sort of
@1.12.34
how did you break free from that bit¢h's web ensnaring you!?
is that hard mode only?
between that and the Castle Center's Nitro Smuggling's "Gear Room" are almost always an instant ragequit for me.
to free myself from the web I keep pressing A+B and turning the analog stick quickly.
@@darkyuda thank you... i had a memory that it WAS possible to get free of that attack but couldnt remember what it was aside from FRANTIC stick toggling (yeah yeah, i know what i just said)
thank you again... maybe ill make it all the way through to castle center without dying for once
...HA
@@darkyuda again, thank you 1000 times over... it took a bit more time than id have preferred to "escape" that cheap Toxic Bit¢h, but there was a success story in the end
side note: (now that i can "relax" this boss battle a bit)
anatomically speaking, would you consider that to be her "¢unt" trying to "eat" the unfortunate menfolk?
@@darkyuda the only downside is im anxious about damaging my analog stick
(i know, another uninspired di¢k joke)
didnt see that coming did you?
...
...and again
Wish there was more voice acting for the cutscenes...
that close call @59.00 ... (not)Coller ALWAYS seems to get close enough that he obstructs the camera when im a hop skip and jump from opening the door/gate to salvation
and i jump scare EVERY damn time
oh, and then you gotta deal w/ the GD Vinz Clortho prick twin MFer's to boot
What's the difference in hard mode on the original CV64 and this one?
Some gameplay differences with Reinhardt in LOD are.
+ Stage Foggy Lake and BOSS Sea Monster
+ Boss: Queen Algenie for the Tunnel stage (CV64 had no boss)
+ Changed the layout of some stages
+ added new camera modes that improved in combat
(something that was very problematic in CV64)
HD emulatore?woww
yes, the project 64 can emulate on 1920x1080
I could never get past this level with Reinhardt on either the original N64 Castlevania game or Legacy of Darkness. It's too hard.
