This song is a masterpiece honestly gave me goosebumps. Thanks to the people involved with the production of this song and having it exist... it's beautiful.
Brilliant. Could the audience be any more lifeless? I would've been out of my seat singing along. Rob Thomas is a living legend. His passion and raw talent is unmatchable....
Thanks for your comment Ashley. Yep, you Ladies seem to have a thing for Rob. I kinda got he same feeling about Sheryl Crow. You know Rob may not be the most brutally handsome man you've ever seen, and Sheryl is not "The" most Beautiful woman in the world (top 20 perhaps), but what they are is "Real". It goes further than just their appearance. It is that absolute talent that goes far enough to make an emotional connection with the Listener..You don't just hear it, you feel it as well.
I am Indonesian. I like this song and video. nice song and video. good live music from Matchbox Twenty. good intro. in 1997, this song popular in Indonesia (My country). in 1997, I watching and listening this song from TV in Jawa Timur, Indonesia. I remember with that moment. success for Matchbox Twenty. greetings from Indonesia. thank you.
Brilliant. Could the audience be any more lifeless? I would've been out of my seat singing along. Good old days. . . back when we have this good songs. . . Rob Thomas is a living legend. His passion and raw talent is unmatchable....
bakit ngaun lang inupload tong live mtv ng push shet 18 years old ako simula ng nasaktan hinahanap hanap ko to,,, natagpuan ko 23 na ko kc ngaun nga lang inupload shet bkt ngaun lang pero wla ako sinisisi i love this song .. salamat sa nag ulpload
Yeah, I am not sure it could be Accomplished Again. Sheryl Crow is the only One I Think could Do it Justice. It is Only Because She is so Accomplished. Just My Opinion.
This song makes me feel like im alive. Idk how I can describe it further, but it feels damn good. Seeing the band performing especially this song though.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I am working on a project that was filmed in your homeland back in 1974. The Lynyrd Skynyrd Band performing "Free Bird" in a small theater located in Hamburg Germany.
Thanks for watching and commenting Natalie. "Holy Crap" is exactly what I said when I saw this performance. Only the best live performances make it onto my Jukebox. I welcome you to check out some of the other selections. Alison Krauss - "When You Say Nothin' At All" performed at the Grand Old Opry is the newest addition. It is an outstanding acoustic performance. I watched your coyote howling video. Sounds like they were close, hope you guys had a rifle or handgun within reach.
JACK RACKHAM Thanks for uploading this video I love Matchbox Twenty and I love Rob Thomas that I can't stop listening to their music 🎶 they're always in my dreams
Thanks for your comment Giovanni. I am glad you enjoyed it. The thanks goes to VH1 and their "Story Teller" series. It was sent to me by a friend who was forced to shut down his UA-cam channel by "BIG MEDIA'S" Copyright Police. All I did was clean it up a bit and I created the Matchbox20 Logo that appears in the lower right corner. The full performance is available on UA-cam. I think there were at least 2 users offering it on their Channels
Thanks for watching and commenting. I invite you view some of the other videos in this playlist, I think you may repeat your comment more than once or twice. Check out "ALLMAN BROTHERS END OF THE LINE", Alyson Krauss WHEN YOU SAY NOTHIN AT ALL, or THE ROLLING STONES GIMMIE SHELTER (voted as best version on UA-cam). There is more Great Live Music there for you to enjoy.
Thanks for answering that question Scotty. Playing the Drums is as much work as it is play a drummer once told me. He would have known because he was a Roofer by day, and a Drummer by night for a local bar band.
Music is Magic in it's ability to effect a change in mood and attitude. I've found many songs that are "Uplifting" for me. My 5 year old Granddaughter went to sleep every night listening to classical music. Her reasoning and communication skills are that of an average child....that's 8 or 9 years old. Thanks for watching Jorge.
SMaze17 LOL. Well SMaze this performance was at a Small Venue with what is known as a "Controlled & Small Audience". Made up Largely of the Band's Friends, Family and thoae closest to them. The purpose was to capture the Live Performance before a Live audience, but not a rowdy over exuberant one. You do bring up a good point. The Musicians that make up this Band are Outstanding. As was this Performance.
I'm not sure about the answer to that one Jason, other than to say that many professional musicians are often capable of playing more than just one. Here are two examples I can think of right off. Don Henley - Drums, Piano, Guitar. Dan Fogelberg - Well, let's say the list of instruments he couldn't play was short. His most successful Album was "Phoenix" (5 Hits). He played almost every instrument on every song. He enlisted the help of Joe Walsh for Slide Guitar on the song "Face the Fire".
Thanks Don. This was what I call a "Refugee". I Snagged a copy of this for my "Jukebox" Playlist. The original poster was either flagged with copyright strikes or he just shut down. Don't know for sure. I polished up the video with an intro and closing. I also created and placed the MATCHBOX 20 Logo at the lower right corner to give it a more professional appearance. I'm sure you recognize the logo from the matchbox cars we had as kids. MatchBoxes and Hot Wheels!
I can appreciate a woman that knows what she likes. I'll take your word for the "Yummmy" part. I recall having a similar reaction to Sheryl Crow in those skin tight red, white, & blue leather pants performing with the Rolling Stones in New York's Madison Square Garden. If "Yummmy" = "OH Baby! Have Mercy!" then we must be on the same train. Some say It's the level of talent that matters. Not appearance. I Hate to break it to them, but appearance has always mattered. Thanks for watching.
JACK RACKHAM yahhh..cant believe time flies but still having the same feelin evrytime I heard this song😍..and yahh sheryl crow, even am purely girl I have a crush on her.. 😍😍😜
Yes Cherry, Indeed it Does. I have a Very Good Friend, Keenan Hegarty who (in my opinion) is an Excellent Performer. A Singer, Song Writer, and Guitar Player. He has said to me more than once that Music (in the form of our favorite songs) can represent the Mile Markers on the Road We call Life.
Brilliant. Could the audience be any more lifeless? I would've been out of my seat singing along. one of the very few bands who actually sounds better live than their recording
Stack, I have given some thought to your assessment of what this song means to you. It says a lot about the power of music and it's significance when applied to the timeline which makes up the total sum of our Lives. This song represents the story of your effort to ensure the survival of the 2 most important life forms on this planet. There are the songs that make up the group I call the "1%ers". Those are the ones that I sum up with this statement; "It just does not get any better than that." Like you, i have one of those important life forms. My Granddaughter who just turned 6 years old. She has chosen Allison Krauss - "When you say nothing at all" as the song that is about us. She tries to sing it to me sometimes. It's on the same playlist with "Push".
Carol, I had to Give your Questions Some Very Careful Consideration. They Are Questions I have Asked Myself more than Once. The Answer is in your own words. "How could you Love Someone so much....". Your Love was not Returned in Equal Proportion. You are never Supposed to Be anybody's Doormat. And You are Hated because you won't Allow yourself to be Used as One. In Addition, the Time you have wasted with Such a Person Serves as Additional "Salt in the Wound". Like going Down a Dead End Road and Running out of Gas Half way Back. I am Sorry if Life has given you a Spoon full of $#!T. I have had more than a Couple of them myself. You Gotta Guard Your ❤.
This is way more awesome than the studio version. Love this song and this band eversince. 💕
It is an Excellent Performance.
