Jeez, the empire seems to be such a non-threat. Yeah there are some upgrades, but in reality, if cal gets tougher, so should the enemies. I have seen that on higher difficulties they just put more commander versions of the enemies and give the melee ones more shields. I think that is just avoiding rather than tackling the problem. As much as I love B1s, I know that they could statistically not beat stormtroopers nor even clones on a 1 to 1 basis, and they seem more accurate as well. And the ATST is the most pathetic rendition I have seen! If they want weak horde enemies, they should use random thugs, animals and maybe the Imp army/navy troopers, not platoons of stormtroopers and walkers. The Stormtrooper Corps and the other lower-tier Imperial units need to be buffed big time for game 3 or else it will feel stale.
Why? The only time they weren't fodder is the 1st scene of ANH, and that was against rebels who themselves are mostly bad. Any main character shredded them, Cal shredded them in prologue of TFO being just peak human/barely superhuman with a bonus of weak slow ability. Now when he has crazy feats and force abilities, with his unique approach to combat and fighting experience it would be weird for stormtroopers to stand much of a chance. That doesn't mean they can't be dangerous, they just need to play support for tougher enemies (like they do with purge troopers). Hope we get to see more trooper types though as even purge troopers are nothing special now Also, why do you think stormies are better than clones? Padawan Cal was stronger than TFO prologue Cal so they look weak/are weak in game. If you want to compare clones to stormtroopers, closest thing in game is purge trooper commander
@@Sebdowner108 agree clones and b1s, b2s, and droid commandos overall better than storm troopers. the only reason why empire wins cause most droids shut down. clones well their factort was destroyed by first order arc there arent any of them. storm trooper has the numbers, they have purge troopers, death troopers, and most importantly palp and vader alone would rekt the rebel army. the only reason why empire loses cause palp could had left vader to death and he would had won. but anyways yea overall if droids and clones are at their 100 percent they would win
those scouts seemed like they didn't really attack, just crowded around the creature and waited to be thrown.

to be fair? b1s are a big threat well before empire saga became a thing. theres a reason why droids win a lot of fights in the clone wars
