Can't see that being a thing in future interactions so def something to be careful with but yeah, I REALLY liked you did that.

Should say to them people who claim they own the sky that anytime they are on an aircraft that is flying over your home that they will be flying over private property and are therefore trespassing over your private property. Also say that you give the pilot your permission to fly over your property with all passengers and crew members with the exception of the individual and anyone they are travelling with .

If you own land you do own the use of the airspace up to the requisite height , BUT you do not CONTROL access to that airspace , similar to if you buy land that contains a Right of Way , you might own it , but cannot control access to it .

Look out, ACE is in command! The guy was speechless when you made them wait until you finished your flight. The lady was polite and concerned for your safety but still wished (~4 times) that you would’ve come in to tell them what you’re doing and have THEM tell you where it’s safe to film from. Nice drone flight. Thanks ACE! 😊
They didn't like it, but that was too bad. They were friendly enough though. I need to do that more often lol
She isn't concerned for her safety, she is only interested in giving directives and trying to get her to comply with her demands, oldest psychological trick in the book and her safety is not the companies concern off the site.
@@AceAuditsPlease remind them it's a serious criminal offence to interrupt and interfere with a drone pilot. Six months prison IIRC.
The lady wasn't polite, this is Slavic passive aggressive authority building technique, very common in Poland where she is from and other eastern countries. She is irritated that Ace didn't submit to her authority, and was passively trying to flex over her. Nothing she said was sincere. You have to understand how eastern European culture works when it comes to lying, or just basically bullying people. This is the problem with face cultures.
Telling them to wait puts the onus on them to stick to legalities straight away.

Green Group moved into the site 2017, previously a Kuehne Nagel depot for B&Q. Kuehne Nagel moved to a larger facility just north. Green Group added the second warehouse on The Furrows a few years ago. Great drone views! 👍⭐⭐⭐

Funny how your safety is important (justification to get more info from you and get rid of you 😁) on public property when your responsible for your own safety in public until you go on their land.
They think people do not consider their own safety in public, some don't but it's not their responsibility.

Considering you're saving them from commiting a criminal offense I think this is a respectable attitude Ace. If people push it after this point then it's clearly something they need to work on if they persist after knowing its an offense.

How rude and unprofessional of that lady to vape in front of you. Her 'concerns' with regard to your safety were unfounded. Perhaps she knew that her face may show up on your video. She made a song and dance about it.

Should have mentioned that it is actually illegal to disturb a pilot while the drone is in the air.
1) Legal Ramifications: The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) takes drone safety seriously. Interrupting an operator could be considered reckless endangerment, punishable by fines or even imprisonment.
2) Interfering with a drone flight may also be an offence under Article 240 of the Air Navigation Order in endangering the aircraft (it does not matter that it is unmanned). The Air Navigation Order distinguishes drones which carry out surveillance.
You might want to mention this to any similar future encounters with silly uneducated jobsworths.

Trucks are usually high and she is still trying to get control and give instructions and Health and Safety only applies ON SITE and is none of their business off site. It is a criminal offence to interrupt a pilot while in flight.

I really believe that the sky will become private property in the not too distant future.
I don't think it will become private property, but I do think laws for flights will change as things like autonomous commercial drone deliveries and flying taxis become a thing. Times change, and the CAA have to take everything into account. There are some significant changes affecting drones currently being introduced over the next few years, but its ok, I will adapt and work with it.
@ACE AUDITS: do you find the wrapping on your drone makes it easier to see whilst flying? Have wondered whether it’s worth fitting on my drones. Thanks.
Its spraypaint, lightly applied, and super light holographic film tape. Yes, depending on the colour of the background, I can get up to around 20m extra line of sight visibility. Just be careful with its weight if you do yours, make sure it doesn't go overweight. Mine is exactly 249g after the paint job

7:40 So even though Ace was standing in a safe place and a HGV was passing by safely as the man and woman approached, the woman still thinks she has to give H&S advice. When the H&S training she's been given is a few minutes of some video training course at worst, and half and hour induction training at best.
If my camera was hidden, I can guarantee they wouldn't give a t0ss about h&s lol

Photography public-to-private isn't a new thing. It has always been that way and has never changed. So I wonder where people get this idea. I guess because it's private land they just made the assumption. Oh, well, it is our civic duty to educate and I hope this free enlightenment is truly appreciated.

So curly and his backup girly come out, and you politely advise them that you cannot be distracted whilst flying your drone .But you will be happy to talk to them after you have finished ..Three times you have to tell them , apparently they go deaf if they do not get the answer they want .. then the girly backup, who is in charge of every one in the universes safety , starts waffling on about where you should stand, because the truck drivers they employ are so useless, they will run over some one standing on a paved area ..

I just bought a GoPro 12, its so much better than the 10, doesn't overheat as fast as the 10, and much longer battery life.
The first guy that came to ask you what you were doing seemed not too bad, Ace, but it didn't seem to take long before the guy came out, stating that he wasn't too happy about you flying a drone over their private property.
I'm glad that you stated to him that you would continue your flight as it MAY have been an unsafe flight had you not concentrated on what you were doing. 😉👍♥
