What’s the chair your using ?
It's an old JRC Stealth Chair. I don't think they make it now but I think some shops still sell them online.
Don't just pick the rod up and start trying to wind the fish in! Walk backwards you get the fish under control and out of danger a lot quicker 👍
Rod down low to the side (tip almost under the water) turns them every time.
