Best I have ever seen. While others rely on brute strength, her brain is her best weapon. Look at her drop shot. It drops behind the net and stays. I wish she hadn't taken that long break.
I wish she had had a longer career :( ☹ it would have been a beautiful joy to this world to see her play for another 5 or 10 years ... her game is so elegant, fast, powerful, accurate, versatile :) love her and miss her, so much!
Justine was a wonderful player, with beautiful groundstrokes, especially her one handed backhand......man do i miss her......... she was so fun to watch...👍👍❤❤
That 06 Wimbledon final was so tough to swallow for her and us Henin fans. Her best chance at Wimbledon, but all credit to Mauresmo who really played well then, and deserved a proper slam win celebration.

Listen, I am a Serena Williams Fan 🤷🏾♂️. I mean the lady is literally the reason why I picked up a tennis racket 💯. With that being said I have always liked, respected, admired, studied, and praised Justine for what she has done. She was such an amazing and formidable competitor to watch. The person that my parents raised me to be just has to respect someone with the style, grace, fight, and athleticism of Justine, no matter who my favorite is 🤷🏾♂️💯✊🏾✊🏾..
The female Federer! Great video. Best thing I can say about the music is that it was kept down. Better still if removed altogether. Let the tennis speak for itself.
She is 5'5 1/2. A few centimetres taller. Shorter than Hingis but when you looked at the two standing side by side, Henin has a ripped and bulkier physique and more athletic in shape. She was extremely fit during her younger years on tour, and that's where she probably has more raw power than hingis due to her stronger and heavier body muscle. Without training extensively, her muscles wont likely be able to generate such power with ease. Although it is still remarkable that someone of her height could produce the power almost at the same range with the men's and sometimes could produce higher groundstrokes speed by overpowering the larger/taller WTA athletes like Davenport, Pierce, Osaka, and the Williams Sisters. That alone is what makes Henin already a special tennis gift to the world, and then when we start to talk about her game style, technique, footwork speed and agility, tactical mastery- she is definitely up there right next to the all time greats of the game. Maybe around top 5 or 15. It's a shame that she had a lot of long hiatus due to some serious injury (from Early 2004 to 2005) (another period of slow recovery at the end of 2005 until just before the A0 2006)and yes who can forget the 2008 sudden retirement while she was still a No 1. Out of the blue, few months later slamless Safina and Jankovic took over her spot but they were never in control while holding the throne at the top like Henin did. It was the time a lot of other top players have since retiring, Williams sisters were slowly getting better but chose to play fewer tournaments to avoid injuries in the future. I wished we could see more matches when Serena Venus and Henin (maybe Clijsters or Sharapova) are dominating the tour simultaneously, just like Roger Nadal and Djokovic at the same era. It would have been so intriguing and nail biting
Thanks again! Much appreciated! Will there be a part 3? Henin-Capriati US Open 2003 semis had lots of great unreal points won by Henin too! :) Just a thought....
Unfortunately she retired at the age of 25 she already won 7 grandslam ...If she continued playing for at least 4 years more she should have at least 4 french open and many more other slams too.She always got inspired from her comparitrot Kim clijsters , Both tries to outsmart others.. Actually Henin and Clijsters are only players able to challenge Serena ...
Can't get enough of this girl she was meant to play tennis. I still remember serena calling her a b**ch at the us open 2007 quarter final coz henin was winning 🤣
Yeah we miss her on tour..Too bad she got a relatively short career if you compare it to other great tennis players. She pushed so many players and she is defenitely an element why Venus, Serena, Sharapova, Clijsters, Davenport, Mauresmo became as good as they are.
She doesn't deserve to be compared to Federer, her backhand technique was so different... she made her backhand her strongest weapon, meanwhile Federer backhand was his weakness... Her backhand efficiency reminds me a lot peak Wawrinka (even Thiem) with powerful fore and backhand, but she had indeed an incredible touch and reflex that could reminds players like Rios or Federer.
As much as I can’t stand Justine had she of been on the tour now and at her peak, she would destroy Swiatek. These mediocre players are making her look better than she really is.

Serena didnt really dominate Henin. Its more her being lucky that Henin retired that early. When Henin retired in 2008 at age of 26 she had seven grand slam titles and eleven finals overall + Olympic singles gold, Serena was 27 at that time with eight slams and ten finals but she had less big titles overall + no singles gold. Henin was by far more talented player, just limited by her weak body.

She would have definitely won allot more, even ended up with maybe 15 slams. She could've been a top tier all time great
