Ennis Railroad and Cultural Heritage Museum Rail Rod Donation

A notable Railroad Track Equipment Donation. A ' Rail Rod' track work piece of historic equipment has been donated to our museum by Lou and Molly Houck. Now then, you may not have ever heard of a Rail Rod, and to tell the truth, neither had we although with a little 'research', we fully expect to have it ' up and running' as they say. We do appreciate the kind thoughts of the Houck's to make this donation and to travel hundreds of miles just makes their gift all that more special. Don't forget to drop by the Museum whenever you can find the time, it's amazing how much history is sitting in that brick building by the railroad tracks. Thanks for looking !
