Lines? Goodness she looks gorgeous! The fact that women my age (32) have to explain in this industry how a face looks that hasn’t been tempered with and is full of botox and fillers - is so crazy… and sad. Emma is such a role model and never shy to give a voice to the unpopular opinion - I admire her!

Amazing project! When she was saying she was not a child anymore, she has lines on her face and she earned them, it was in response to the criticism she got at the BAFTA for looking old compared to how she used to. It was so bizarre to hear the criticism where people were saying ''this is what happens when you become a feminist''. It was just cruel. She obviously does not look like a child anymore... she was in Harry Potter a VERY long time ago! She still looks very young though if were being honest compare to a lot of people her age, especially without cosmetic surgeries (in Hollywood, that's very rare and I appreciate it). She looks 26 to me. Anyway, this was the best most creative reply she could have give to her haters and I found it awesome! Celebrating feminity as its best and realest!

All people (both men and women) look their best in their early twenties. That's it. From there on it's all downhill lol.
That's not to say that people will become "ugly" after their twenties or anything, but they're just not gonna "peak" anymore. Which makes sense because you're supposed to be at your most "attractive" when you're the most "fertile" and you're the most fertile when you're young.
Here today, gone tomorrow. Emma was every guy's crush for a while. Times change.

And especially compared to men who are her age who are part of the group raising these criticism (though I suspect incel-types teenage boys are the majority of the critics). Like ever checked your beer belly/dad bod, receding hairline and wrinkly face from never wearing sunscreen? There's nothing wrong with any of these three things but my point is: You're in no place to level this criticism my man.

Every other female who wants to direct movies and shorts: Has to have a degree and finish filming school. Emma Watson: using her fame to make a "statement" and say "she doesn't need your permission". Ok, girl. That's a bit unfair to literally everyone else who doesn't have their name as an excuse. Sorry but is there anyone more anti-feminist than her 😂 what a hypocrite. The only reason that she "doesn't need a permission anymore" and simply "asking Prada" to let her direct was accepted was because she's famous, let's get real, any other normal every day person without the appropriate career would not even be considered for the position.

    • @___Laura5

Yeah. Also, that's a bit entitled to say "to give herself permission" 😭🤣 I know it was all about believing in herself, that she can do it, etc. but it sounded so entitled and arrogant...
Also, creating an ad for a fairly unnecessary product was hardly sustainable. A perfume is not necessary. A plastic (?) refill bottle is not sustainable. Spending all the money and energy on making an ad is not sustainable. It's like, the theory sounds good, but the actions contradict it.
At least make the refill bottle of glass, as it's endlessly recyclable.

Brilliant marketing. Whoever wrote Emma's lines executed a masterstroke. I love the paradoxical notion that through consumerism, we can save the environment. Using just one glass bottle instead of three saves 71% of bottlenose dolphins. Your other option is not to buy into Paradoxe or any other perfume brand, and instead of wasting one glass bottle, or three glass bottles, you don't waste any glass bottles. Adopting such a strategy saves 89% of red squirrels but reduces Emma's income stream by 65%.

Emma is expressing how she feels and what she wants to do. No permission from anyone. In a way she wants to give out the kind to explore gor herself. And I like it. I could see the message and metaphors going on with the subtitle reading on perhaps personal lines or general in a sentence, it dose feel like our age or our time how we see and feel in our current climate, that's just me. And to use the commercial in a art form.

Reading far too deep Into it, this script would have been written and verified by multiple people. Slap her face on it rolling around and there’s your end product. And you suckers will by it from us because I’m telling you to 🤷‍♂️

@@Elfizi-Padang actually I'm not a emma fan, I don't buy her products and she did say she wam6ed to direct it personally. And in her art way you could tell that she was going through stuff relatable in this disconected technology era that it has become. Even changing us as a result, the world has changed. And I can see it. It feels scary sometimes, like 2010s, we were in familiarity and celebrating what we grew up with while introducing new things along the way. 2016 happens right up too 2020, anther hut for people. Its different. I go outside feeling the atmosphere different with millianals now. As we are now adults. We condition ourselves becouse of what has happened, media infulncers and affirmations have made us walk too their instructions, good or not it had changed our style and habits by its algorithms.
When I wake up feeling disconnected but by a sense of a parasocial way. Its disoriented, people leaning towards legal Eagle, finances, law, politics, family oriented, youtube or the internet being that was the escape from modern life has become life. People are presentation by their work ethic and social quos. Instead of people that were carefree in the early 2010 and explorating. That was whag I miss and the place I knew. Not this place. It's unfamiler and even outside has slowly changed by it's policies and how people interact now. This not just fandom of Emma on my part its conveying something everyone knows.

isn't it a little funny, how a smell, a product, others consume and purchase - literally a SMELL - is considered something that is going to "change things" and have Emma talk about liberty? haha ok I guess we can find feminism in ANY thing.. however... this is still just consumerism and a product. perhaps a product made more consciously . But still just another perfume on the marked. it's not a life changer.
I'm glad that Emma felt comfortable in finally trying to direct something. but she speaks as if, she would have voiced her opinion and wanted to direct, earlier - as if she wouldn't be allowed to do so. She is one of Hollywood's - and the worlds - darlings. She can do
whatever she wants. she is not held back in the slightest. it really turns me off, she tries to come at this whole thing in a victim state. "oh i am a woman but I AM NOT WAITING ANYMORE for you PERMISSOIN....." ok Emma calm down.
