I see Emma watson's eyes looking Rupi Kaur with so much love. And she really emphasizes with her. Ahh.. this video contains so much love. My heart is warming too.☺❤ And their voices are so warm and sweet.
Emma"s casual and down:to-earth interviewing style is excellent. She creates an extremely comfortable milieu for the other person to talk and talk more . The art of listening one should learn from Ms. Emma.
I’m late to the party, but I just saw this. I immediately went to your Instagram page and started reading your poems. Never in my 53 years have I connected with something as instantly as I have with your poems. I just ordered three of your books and I am so excited. Thank you Rupi for sharing your gift. My soul has been profoundly changed and I feel like I’m going to be ok.
Firstly, she hasn't aged a bit she still looks like 3rd year Hermione to the T and also I love her voice its just so soothing, I mean you could fall asleep listening to it and I love how she uses her power to speak up about the issues she thinks need to be dealt with
@@tayzk5929 Well, I think that is kind of mean. What if she doesn't want a child? An adult's purpose in life is more than just to give birth to a kid y'know? Just saying I didn't mean to offend you or anything but I mean its her life, I think shes quite happy.
@@ananya988 No, our purpose in life is to build families and create children. There are other things that are valuable too, but nothing is more important. Also I don't think she is quite happy. I think she is the victim of a toxic culture, she has spoken about feeling anxiety and depression because she doesn't have a husband and children but instead of realizing she should have been building a family, she wants to blame society for her negative feelings instead of blaming society for not pushing her in the right direction.
@@tayzk5929 Ahh, I see. Well, now I agree more with you but society is partly to blame as well. They should mind their own business instead of hating her for it.
@tayzk5929 No, it's not like this. As a woman, when you are 26 or older, you are asked EVERY DAY why you are alone, why you don't have a relationship, why you are not married, and when you are going to have children. For example, obviously, I want to have a family and kids, but at this moment in my life, I want to find a better job and study more. I am so happy, but hearing these questions every day and feeling those weird looks makes me feel useless, like the most stupid person in the world, and that I don't deserve anything if I am not going to get married tomorrow. Even if I manage to be independent, have a good job, and be educated, and I feel so happy as I am now. What If I won't be able to married? Do I have to kill myself in 5-10 years?
The look on Emma’s face you can tell she is such a fan!! She has slight nervousness in her demeanor but her body language is so welcoming it’s sweet how respectful she is towards Rupi and she’s asking her questions as if they’re just two friends chatting rather than it feeling so much like it’s an interview. Sometimes we forget that celebrities are normal people just like us and have their own passions and interests too
This also goes to show how comfortable Emma is on camera, she’s spent her whole childhood and adulthood, basically her whole life filming in front of one so recorded conversations like this come so natural to her. Her authentic self is so beautiful and Rupi perfectly matched her energy!
I came here for emma Watson but fell in love with rupi and the way she talks ... I read alot of her work from insta... And now I can't wait to read her books!!
I wish world would have had more people like Emma. If you want to be a good person and you don't know how to achieve it,just be like Emma. It's the same. Thank you Em♡
This was so lovely it made me cry and has really given me the courage to write about stuff like these and get louder about them . These women are so empowered and they empower me each day to embrace those Feminine instincts and love myself and the world around me the way it is . SO BEAUTIFUL .
Such a wonderful interview! Love all the insightful questions Emma asked and lovely answers and explanations from Rupi gave. So happy to hear these conversations in the mainstream :)
Two of the most amazing women of our days sharing an empowering, open discussion while being filled with admiration and support for each other. I love this so much!
I love her English accent when she speaks, especially when she pronounces "S" in any word ... she becomes like sparrow is tweet... I love you, Emma.🎶🐦😍😍😍😍👌
Its so important that parents understand and support their kids through whatever interests and endeavours that they are making. It's a little difficult in some cultures like India where the baby boomers gen has had a very limited experience or understanding as to what successful and respectable occupations mean.
Your eyes Emma are so true and beautiful the way you look at her it's like you truly see them and you are welling to. It's very understanding. You know that look tells a lot it's beyond the words. We need more of it in this world. I can see myself there👀💚

@@utsgotnoguts We Are ONE I reminisced of a time long ago when I was only twenty years old. I was studying English 101 at the University Of British Columbia In the summer of Eighty-Four. It was at a summer session because I had failed English 101 two years before. A failure due more to my citizenship in a different realm Than to the failings of my intellect, aptitude Or the magnanimity of my core. “You have such a poignant and evocative writing style,” wrote my teacher On the short-story I had submitted the week before. I had written about a lonely sojourn on a desolate beach In the pregnant moment, When sunset injures day's abandon And grants night the freedom to roam. I had written about the mighty North Shore mountains, Hoary with age and reverberating with an energy ineffable to the mind, But savored by the soul. I remembered how exhausting of mind, But above all of the soul, Writing that short-story had been. I tried to reveal my spirit bare and exposed. I tried to destroy the ramparts, And blow open the heavy gates shielding my secretive core. But through my exhausting efforts I had only succeeded in weakening the facade between me and the world, Usually held at arm's length, But through my story then, only slightly nearer yet still remote. There is an essence within everyone hidden in a chamber far beneath the veneer that encrusts our core. We seldom allow it expression beyond just its fractured shadows dancing on an external wall. But if we all dig deep and reach into this secretive chamber, We will, to our astonishment, discover we are all reaching into the same chamber, Not a separate one for each within the all. And then we will grasp each other's same-hand. We all share the same soul. I knew that in the novel of my compulsion I would have to expose this chamber, Ramparts and heavy gates destroyed once and for all. And my novel would then cry out from this collective chamber, And speak for my left and for my right with one voice for all. It would be the ineffable ground of being reaching out to humanity from the navel of Creation, Proclaiming the dawn of a Third Age. It would announce the sunset of the Second Age before this coming dawn. A moment pregnant with change that will forever be remembered in the annals of the Civilization of Man. It would herald a paradigm shift far greater than the Renaissance, Not just an age of reason, but of reason and divinity intertwined as an inseparable whole. I envision the Third Age to be promoting the two primordial dancers, The abstract magical and the other its complementary whole. To engage in the Dance and thence unshard into the Eternal Garden from whence we all came forth. They are in Eternity entwined, but sharded into the realms of space and time. They are shards of the divine. Would composing such a novel be an arduous journey, Exhausting my body and above all my core? Would I be as a drowning man, Gasping for breath, Kicking and screaming while with futility grasping for shore? But would every paragraph and page exhaust me, Yet also leave me yearning for more? It would I am sure. This arduous compulsion will also uplift and invigorate me with waves of catharsis and frisson. And I pray dearly for the same in my reader, of soul-piercing joy. If I fail to evoke the same in my audience then I would have failed to breach the ramparts and the gates shielding my innermost chamber, Our collective soul. Only within this innermost shared sanctum can I truly touch someone's soul. And by touching one, I will be touching them all.
Peace all. The inner being of a poet can be so isolated, and withdrawn that many perceive us as introverted nerds. The aura we project is a song, and world of itself.
