Had one looks great but I put it on slightly crooked and my truck is white so it showed from the front near the grill, and you have to destroy it to remove it. I was also concerned about holding moisture under it. I bought the mid profile one that mounts from underneath the hood and looks almost as good and is easily removed if you need to.
After you install it and then take off the protective coating, what do you do if you find scratches and scuff marks on the deflector? You would be screwed because you wouldn’t be able to take it off and return it for a refund. I think I would take off the protective coating and inspect the deflector before I installed it.
Using 3 m tape is like having a charging grizzly bear coming at you and you have one bullet in your gun. There is a real good chance of something bad happening.
I bought my 2011 Mustang GT in Oct 2010, and I put side window louvers on it. I cleaned the windows like the instructions said, and peeled the covering off of the 3M tape. I pressed the louvers on, and drove it a few hours later. I still have the Mustang, and the louvers are still on it. The clearcoat (I bought the painted ones to match my Grabber Blue paint) on the louvers is wearing off now, the tape is still holding strong. Yes, unfortunately, I have ran my car through the car wash, a lot over the years. So for me, I haven't had an issue with 3M tape, and also just put on some rain guards on the doors of my F150. I have a feeling, they too will be fine.

I put one of those on my 2022 Maverick, I used four points to buy it.
Wish I watched this before doing this myself…I basically broke my AVS. In half 😢
😂😂😂😂😂
How does it stand up to auto car wash?
I put one of those on my Maverick, I go through the power washer, and it stays on there great.
Does this actually work? Is so small?
I never like the 3m tape involved. Just seems like using tape to hold something in place is not a real good idea. One little mistake is all it takes.

I bought one,the one I got was nothing like I wanted.this one uses sticky tape instead of screws.very poor quality.
Should have been a twenty dollar buy instead it was eighty five.not worth it.
Buy a new truck and then put 3m tape on the paint! Mmm no thanks
