My Twilight Zone pinball in action, it's a pity the powerball was used in multiball as I have installed a 3rd magnet and you don't get to see it do it's party trick!
I agree to a certain extent there are better ones for a quick game but I have owned this for 10 years and it’s the one that still challenges with its depth, complexity and variety of shots!
Much, much better. I’m biased but you can’t beat the real feel and weird things the ball does that can’t be replicated by a computer, not to mention the satisfaction of making “that shot” for real!
Solid game. I used 2 woop ass at this game too! Only achieved that last "bonus" whatever-it-was-called ONCE. All da doors were lit & open on da main board & there was a multi-ball that had tons of balls...loved da TV show as well. Rod Serling born same day as me, baby.!
This is how I came into existence actually, there was door which was unlocked with the key of imagination then I took the form of a half dragon half yeti hybrid... well a dragoti to be precise then Merry Poppins showed up with a uzi and I was like "you can never stop me Merry Poppins" then I punched her in the jaw which then she took her true form of a Megalodon and said "Benny I will open the phase gate for you" and thus I was born.
On birmingham new street, UK the was an arcade that had one pinball. £1 for 3 plays. Every saturday, during term time a good session would be at least 15 credits. It is a high maintenance pinball, but worth it.
I've been looking all over for one of these. Never played it, but its reputation proceeds it. Anyone have any idea what they're running for these days?
Hi, there are sensors in a few places round the game which are effectively coils of wire and can detect a metal (normal) pinball roll past them, when a normal switch is triggered in a subway (for example) and then one of these coils doesn't "see" a metal ball it knows it's the ceramic one. Did that make sense?!!
The big thing for me about this pinball machine that I liked is the pearl colored ball that you could get that had a bounce property, kinda like it was rubber coated.
@byoungjeezy I would guess the US. If your question had been the US or Europe I would have said Europe as Williams had a bigger market here than the US which is why they always shipped their games her 1st.
Looking forward to playing this on Farsight studios pinball arcade. I know nothing can beat the real thing but seeing as there are hardly any pinball machines here in Japan i have to take what i can get.
Can anyone recommend a place to get a machine near So Cal? What do you look for? We want to get something special for our kids with money their grandma (who passed away this year) left them. Soemthing cool they would remember her by.
Dang it, what I wouldn't do to have this, the Addams Family and the Indiana Jones machines sitting in my living room Though it's probably for the best, otherwise I'd probably never leave my house
No substitute for the real machine, but the closest you can get to this would be "uncle willy's night table" on visual pinball.. As far as I'm concerned the Pinball Arcade ones are a shallow representation of this baby. Thing is you really need a lot of room for the real table, plus at least a couple grand for a well mainthained one...
Is the clock assembled weird? The big black cog is assembled correct, but the hour hand is not! It's a 10 minute fix :D Slide the glass, unscrew the 4 screw which holds the plate, remove (carefully) the clip, the minute hand, the hour hand, have them at midnight, reassemble all and it's done :D
@mierezuur there are many amazing pinballs... even if i think TZ is still 'da best... lokk @creatur of the black laggon, scared stiff, or on thw right of the page ;-)
Help bring this great table to The Pinball Arcade by Far Sight Studios for the Xbox 360, PS3, etc. Go to Kickstarter to donate today! Over $20,000 raised do far!
If I had a Twilight Zone right next to a Medieval Madness, I'd never leave the house.
If I had a twilight zone right next to every other pat lawlor game, THEN I would never leave the house
Me too, same Revenge From Mars 3D and Star Wars 3D (best Pinballs machines for me)
*Respects* to the mother of all Pinball machines
My #1, favorite pinball game of my life. Followed by Theatre of Magic and Addams Family. Splendid score by the way!
I agree to a certain extent there are better ones for a quick game but I have owned this for 10 years and it’s the one that still challenges with its depth, complexity and variety of shots!
Awesome gameplay. I love this machine. This and Addams Family are my all time favorite pins.
pat lawlor
Absolutely the greatest pinball game of all time. Great play. So close to Lost In The Zone!! Thankx for sharing the video. Great memories!
Much, much better. I’m biased but you can’t beat the real feel and weird things the ball does that can’t be replicated by a computer, not to mention the satisfaction of making “that shot” for real!
I miss playing pinball. I wish pinball machines were more common today.
One of my very favorite boards. Good to see some videos of it playing in live action.
The closest I could ever get to this machine again is play it virtually on Pinball FX. It's a faithful adaption and I play it for hours!
thanks for sharing...nice to know there are some of these still in circulation
I remember playing this one at my local arcade many years ago.
The best pinball machine ever made
FANTASTIC!!! I WANT ONE!!! GREAT IMPRESSION OF ROD SERLING!!!
I think it's pretty obvious that those are actual voice clips from the series, and not an impersonation?
Legendary pinball machine, this one...
the dot matrix lcd animation it's simply amazing... love this beatifuly customized pinball, very good MATT!
What a great machine! I liked the way you got the sneaky Powerball Mania jackpot in!
"DON'T TOUCH THE DOOR"
"Or else what?"
"OR ELSE YOU'LL START MULTIBALL...oops"
"Ha! >:)"
Solid game. I used 2 woop ass at this game too! Only achieved that last "bonus" whatever-it-was-called ONCE. All da doors were lit & open on da main board & there was a multi-ball that had tons of balls...loved da TV show as well. Rod Serling born same day as me, baby.!
This looks like a cool pinball machine to play!
I see you have medieval madness. Two of the highest rated machines right next to each other. :)
one of my favorite pinballmachine
One of my first Pinball's that I reached Wizard Mode in, one of my all time favorites, a great machine
"Lost in the zone" is awesome :-)
Give me this, Dracula, and road show, and I will see you in 5 years.
Twilight Zone, Addams Family, Indiana Jones and Fish Tales were the best!
+Benny Heflinger Top man, some of what you are on please :-)
I got to play one of these today at Minehead in UK, and I want it!
Easily in the top 5 pinball machines ever made.
@X0XNighthawkX0X Thank you my friend, stay happy!
i love the sound!
I wish I had the money for this hobby or I just wish this was around where I live. Beautiful machine
I play this machine all the time At Modern Pinball NYC, it's my favorite
On birmingham new street, UK the was an arcade that had one pinball. £1 for 3 plays. Every saturday, during term time a good session would be at least 15 credits. It is a high maintenance pinball, but worth it.
Great game. I was fortunate to run into one of these out in the wild a long time ago.
+Riz2336 You were lucky, most never lasted in the wild as players didn't understand the rules!
@@tattyadams really? I learnt to play with this machine, I knew nothing about pinball rules before.
@PAULLONDEN They always sound louder than they should, I think its because the mic on the camera is close to them!
Interesting is this one without the magnetic bumper table on the left?
I've been looking all over for one of these. Never played it, but its reputation proceeds it. Anyone have any idea what they're running for these days?
Hey Larry, yes it is pretty modded out, I don’t go to mad with the mods on most pins but TZ looks good with them.
Just beat you!! 2,954,010,560 but I have had it 8 years so it is a long time to build that up!
Hi, there are sensors in a few places round the game which are effectively coils of wire and can detect a metal (normal) pinball roll past them, when a normal switch is triggered in a subway (for example) and then one of these coils doesn't "see" a metal ball it knows it's the ceramic one. @tattyadams stupid follow up question. Any idea if they're more common in the US or UK?
Had this thing at my house as a kid.
The sound at 0:45 still scare me to this day.
tatty, i am the most jealous person in the world of your pinball collection. and i could watch videos of it all day long.
My father have some twilight zone. Nice machine
The best!
@byoungjeezy I would guess the US. If your question had been the US or Europe I would have said Europe as Williams had a bigger market here than the US which is why they always shipped their games her 1st.
We used to have one of the three playboy pinballs.. I can't remember which anniversary. We sold it and now we miss it.
OOOOH EXTRA BALLS!
Looking forward to playing this on Farsight studios pinball arcade. I know nothing can beat the real thing but seeing as there are hardly any pinball machines here in Japan i have to take what i can get.
Thank you!

Amazing beautiful pinball game
Best pinball machine ive ever played
Wow how much can i buy it for? or were can i get one?
Can anyone recommend a place to get a machine near So Cal? What do you look for? We want to get something special for our kids with money their grandma (who passed away this year) left them. Soemthing cool they would remember her by.
@SGTmaxfightmastr Too many to list my freind! The blue light is a led under the rocket smoke.
you're damn good I'm surprised you don't slow the ball down by trapping it with the paddles and aim your shots
Guys, any idea if this machine is available on pc or xbox!?!?!?!?! LOVEEEEE this one! Any other machines recommended?!??!
@tovara22 I like it, thanks. We are all nerds together here!!
Is that MM next to it?
@byoungjeezy £2k+ for a ok one in the UK at the moment, real nice ones are close to £3k.
Dang it, what I wouldn't do to have this, the Addams Family and the Indiana Jones machines sitting in my living room
Though it's probably for the best, otherwise I'd probably never leave my house
Thank you my freind
TOO HOT TOO HANDLE?? :) I played this for hours as a kid!
Yes it is!
Tatty I always wondered this...how does the machine KNOW where the powerball is?
town square madness
This machine, is the top one in the Internet Pinball Machine Database. Rating 8.4 of 10.0 LUCKY!!!
Ahh but I sold it, I got an offer I couldn't refuse. I will have another one day!
Dude, for that thing, they pay... us$10.000.
For how much did you sell it?
amazing table but oh does it power drain.
I have one of these at home!
This table looks interesting, but Cactus Canyon was your best machine.
I wanna play this table in Pinball Arcade, maybe on the OUYA console.
how much you want ?
No substitute for the real machine, but the closest you can get to this would be "uncle willy's night table" on visual pinball.. As far as I'm concerned the Pinball Arcade ones are a shallow representation of this baby. I want this in my room.
great videos,i just got this on android and its exactly the same.cost $5 bucks.
Looks like the machine has a SLIGHT lean to the right.
Best pinball ever made!
Nice mods, do you have the piano mod too?
What's your highscore? (My highscore is: 2.800.000.000)
0:47
It has more patents than any other.
QUE MASSA(MUITO LEGAL)-VERY COOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLL
don't touch the door, don't touch the door.... blitzkrieg wtf. madness.
You'll have to pledge on kickstarter to try and contribute
I can't wate for the IPAD version to come out!
I have MM next to my TZ also!
I love how no one mentions his 800 million score...
The flippers sound so ,so......plasticcy.....;'] Although cool...this is a long way off from those old solid tables with real STEEL balls.
11:51-150,1M Big risk, big reward in the twilight zone
@mierezuur
there are many amazing pinballs... even if i think TZ is still 'da best... lokk @creatur of the black laggon, scared stiff, or on thw right of the page ;-)
Wow,five ball game
That, was fucking fun to watch..
The pinball goes down the side too much
#1. Second place old one with a clown and bonus ferris wheel we have a winner! Don't know the name
Help bring this great table to The Pinball Arcade by Far Sight Studios for the Xbox 360, PS3, etc. Go to Kickstarter to donate today! Over $20,000 raised do far!
Its a ceramic ball that moves a lot quicker than a standard pinball, When its in play the game wants you to "put it back" in the gumball machine!
Only The Addams Family was as good #theresmadnessinthetownsquare
Your mods make this machine shit.
this pinball's sound is dated
